Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have clearly stated your position and addressed the prompt by discussing why habits and opinions change over time. You provided relevant examples, such as the transition from student life to professional employment and the influence of social environments like gyms. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat hindered by language errors, and some points, such as the mention of 'cognitive skills' and 'cerebral growth,' are a bit vague. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting examples are more tightly linked to the main argument and avoid over-generalising about how all people change.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'To commence with,' 'Moreover,' and 'All in all,' to signal the structure. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural. Additionally, there are issues with sentence-level cohesion, such as the run-on sentences in the second paragraph and the awkward phrasing in the introduction. Improving the flow between sentences would help the essay read more smoothly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, including terms like 'paramount,' 'ethnicity,' 'professional,' and 'sedentary.' However, there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'learning institute' instead of 'educational institution,' 'corporal growth' (which usually refers to physical size rather than health), and 'opinions evocations.' Some phrasing is also repetitive or imprecise. While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, the errors occasionally draw attention and limit the precision of your expression.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but your writing is marred by frequent grammatical errors. These include issues with subject-verb agreement ('attitude and thought process is also be a different'), missing articles, incorrect punctuation (e.g., spaces before commas), and awkward sentence fragments. For instance, 'when they are at school , college or any leaning institute their perspectives and hobbies are distinct' lacks proper punctuation and flow. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents a higher score.
