Student answer (Band 5.0)

There is an ongoing debat about individuals are changing their tendencies and beliefs as they grow older. Although old mentality and routines have their own importance and unique identification, I strongly believe that people should change their routines and a way they think for some resons such as new generation's thoughts, hactic scheduls, technology, and many more.

Out of all the arguments the strongest one to prove my view is technological era, Before 2 decads people are not aware about technogy and they used to do their daily chores by themself without any use of technology like washing machine, drayer, robots, vaccums and so on. However, they accept the new life style for their household chores. For instance, some ladies used to wash utensils by their own and that was time consuming but now they change their habitsand accept the dishwasher with time and they are using their time for other work.

Furthermore, people are changing their opinions and habits with time because of kids as children has new thoughts and different way to live their life, so parents has to change their routines with time. That is a good change because day by day technology is growing so fast so people has to change their mind if they want change in life. For example, aduls and teenagers are using AI and old aged people are learning the AI too.

Thus, to wrap the discussion, I strongly believe that for the inovation and change people are accepting new habit

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position, but the development of ideas is limited. While you mention technology and family influence, the arguments are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. The conclusion is incomplete, ending abruptly without fully summarizing the main points. Furthermore, the response falls just short of the 250-word minimum requirement, which negatively impacts the overall task completion. To improve, ensure that each paragraph provides a fully developed example and that your conclusion provides a comprehensive summary of your arguments. Expanding your points with more specific detail would help meet the length requirement and improve the quality of your response.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally inaccurate, such as the transition 'Out of all the arguments the strongest one to prove my view is technological era'. The flow between sentences is sometimes disjointed, and the final sentence is an incomplete fragment, which disrupts the logical progression of the text. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and a logical conclusion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several spelling errors, such as 'debat', 'hactic', 'scheduls', 'drayer', 'inovation', and 'aduls'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations, such as 'wash utensils by their own'. To reach a higher band, you should work on spelling accuracy and attempt to incorporate more sophisticated, topic-specific vocabulary, such as 'technological advancement' instead of 'technological era' or 'domestic chores' instead of 'household chores'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('parents has to change', 'people has to change'), article usage, and incorrect verb tenses ('Before 2 decads people are not aware'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar structures prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage would significantly improve your score.
