People get change alot when they are getting old. With time their thinking and habits get changed. I agree with this statement. I will give some reasons behind this change.
The prominent reason why people get change over time is their physical health. They are not able to do same activities that they used to do in their adulthood for example, adventures. Physical activities requires strength. Apart from that willingness is reason for changed their habits. When people got aged they already experience almost everything during their lives. They barely show excitement to do anything. When person is young they like to participate in different activities, but old people prefer to stay at home and rest.
People's opinion get change with their age due to knowledge and experience. In adulthood, people prefer to spend their money on luxury clothes or expensive cars to show their status in society. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The essay addresses the prompt by agreeing that habits and opinions change with age. However, the response is slightly under the 250-word minimum, which impacts the development of ideas. While the points regarding physical health and financial wisdom are relevant, they are somewhat underdeveloped. The example regarding the world war in India is a bit confusing and lacks clear connection to the main argument about personal habit change. To improve, you should expand on your examples and ensure they directly support your thesis. The position is clear, but the lack of depth prevents a higher score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive (e.g., 'Apart from that', 'In conclusion'). There are also issues with referencing; for instance, the transition between the discussion of physical health and the shift to financial opinions is abrupt. Improving the flow between sentences and using a wider variety of linking words would enhance the overall coherence of the piece.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'get change' instead of 'change' or 'get to know' instead of 'realize'. The use of 'realsitic' (spelling error) and 'finically' (financial) also detracts from the quality. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary and ensuring correct collocations, rather than relying on basic verbs like 'get' or 'do'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are some attempts at complex sentences, they often contain grammatical errors, such as 'When person is young they like...' (missing articles and subject-verb agreement) and 'Physical activities requires strength' (subject-verb agreement). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are frequent errors in tense and article usage throughout the text. Increasing the variety of sentence structures and proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy would significantly improve your score.
