Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years everybody alter their thoughts as well as their daily ..... as they are aging and which is quite normal. I strongly agree the given statement and the reason why I think will be discussed in further paragraphs with detailed causes.
The first and the foremost reason why I say this is as everyone nowadays are being health concious they all follow strict healthy and clean diet plans for their fitness and longer life. So as they are turning into their 40s they stop eating junk food and habbit of eating anything, instead they decide to do some excercise in they early morning and going for a walk, Which is how they can maintain healthy lifestyle. Not only this, but also number of individuals who are old age facing issues with their family members due to age difference and perspective clashes, which is why they stopped habit of drinking alchohol, chewing tobaco or having drugs in their late age.
In contrast to this, some people do not change their abit as they get older due to not willing to change their opinios or they want to stay unchanged. For an instance no matter howmany times you will teach old age people to operate electronic gadgets like smartphone, tablet, computers and many more. They wont understand all features as they are not technosavy people. Some people dont want to learn new things at old age or it becomes hard for them to get used to with such things at very late stage or their life.
In conclusion, I would say that we are surrounded by multiple kinds of personalities in our life. Some believe that change is natural while some remains same till their last breath with their same ideology.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position and providing reasons. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The first body paragraph attempts to link health consciousness to habit changes, but the connection between age-related perspective clashes and the cessation of substance abuse is underdeveloped and slightly confusing. The second body paragraph introduces a counter-argument, but the example regarding technology is a bit narrow and does not fully address the broader concept of 'opinions' mentioned in the prompt. To improve, ensure that each supporting point is fully explained with clear logical links to the main argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'The first and the foremost reason', 'In contrast to this', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and the flow within paragraphs is occasionally disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as the transition between health habits and family conflicts. Referencing is generally clear, but the logical progression could be smoother to achieve a higher band score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'concious', 'habbit', 'excercise', 'alchohol', 'tobaco', 'opinios', 'technosavy') and some awkward collocations like 'turning into their 40s' or 'get used to with such things'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and the frequent spelling mistakes detract from the overall quality of the writing. Focusing on accurate spelling and learning more sophisticated synonyms for common words would significantly improve this score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('everyone nowadays are being', 'number of individuals... are old age facing'), missing articles, and awkward sentence fragments ('Which is how they can maintain healthy lifestyle'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is usually understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. More attention to sentence construction and proofreading for basic errors is recommended.
