Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is quite obvious that with the passage of age , individuals are able to shift their opinions and habits. I am on the same page with this notion because, life experiences enable people to add on their knowledge and the societal pressure also do its part to shape the thinking of individuals. All these reasons regarding my agreement are discussed in the subsequent paragraphs.
To commence with, this section sheds light regarding the rationales related to the variation in human habits and opinions with age. First and foremost, the life learnings are the major reason for engendering the change in the habits and opinions of individuals. To elaborate, when individuals gain knowledge from numerous sources throughout their life , it makes them wise enough to adapt habits that would suit them and are going to be fruitful for them. They do their concrete thinking in order to survive in the world and as a result they keep changing their habits with time to time. To cite an example, Dr. Sigmund Freud of behavioural sciences ,wrote in his article during 1930 that the human behaviour is not a constant thing, rather it is a shifting process in accordance with time and knowledge. He also stated that the knowledge people gained was the crucial aspect for the variation of human habits and opinions. Hence, the learning process has pivotal role among people to change their habits and thinking with their age.
Furthermore, by delving deeper into this section a definitive understanding can be obtained regarding the underpinning related to the change in habits and opinions of people with time. Primarily, the mode of survival in society has enough to do with the habits and opinions of individuals. To clarify, if an individual is considered to be less apealing in society , the individual is going to try shape his level of thinking and habits so he can feel included with the outer community. The constant pressure from outer world has a lot to do with the thinking and behaving mode of individuals ,which later results in the adaptation of different habits . For instance, most of the children are mischeivious in their childhood ,but loses their innocence by parentral pressure and pressure from teachers. The children get indulged in the other more crucial activities rather than just wandering with their friends and change their opinions and habits as they come of their age. Ergo, the commands from outer society plays its magnificiant role to shape the habits and way of thinking of individuals with their age.
To encapsulate, it is concluded that the quite obvious reasons for individuals to change their habits and opinions with their age are the expectations from society and the knowledge that people gasp since their childhood. However, the quality of habits and way of thinking also depend upon the way of upbringing of children.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt well, maintaining a clear position throughout. You provide two distinct reasons for the change in habits and opinions: life experience/learning and societal pressure. The ideas are extended with examples, such as the reference to behavioral science and the observation of childhood development. However, the development is occasionally repetitive, and some arguments, such as the reference to Dr. Sigmund Freud, feel slightly forced or tangential. To reach a higher band, ensure that all examples directly support the main argument without relying on overly generalized or potentially inaccurate historical claims. Overall, the task is fully addressed with a consistent viewpoint.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use a variety of cohesive devices, such as 'To commence with,' 'First and foremost,' 'Furthermore,' and 'To encapsulate.' While the progression of ideas is generally clear, some transitions feel slightly mechanical or repetitive, such as 'by delving deeper into this section.' Additionally, some referencing is slightly awkward, such as 'this section sheds light regarding the rationales.' Improving the flow between sentences and using a wider variety of linking phrases would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items like 'engendering,' 'pivotal,' and 'underpinning.' However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'add on their knowledge,' 'time to time' (should be 'from time to time'), 'less apealing,' and 'gasp' (likely meant 'grasp'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do highlight a lack of precision. To improve, focus on learning collocations and ensuring that words are used in their correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, such as 'societal pressure also do its part' (subject-verb agreement), 'mischeivious' (spelling), 'parentral' (spelling), and 'magnificiant' (spelling). Additionally, there are issues with article usage and prepositional phrases. While these errors rarely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and spelling would significantly improve your accuracy.
