Student answer (Band 6.0)

It is widely observed that individuals change their lifestyle and beliefs as they grow. I am largely agree with this statement because changing in responsibilities and priorities can change their way of thinking can encourage them to adapt different lifestyle and perspectives.

First primary reason why people's outlook change after growing is that they gain more experience and knowledge over time. When they are young, people usually follow the lifestyle and instructions of their family and their teachers in home and school respectively, However, as they continue their studies and enter to their workplace, they interact with people of different backgrounds, they exposed to new perspectives. For instance, earlier people can think study is the only way to be successful in their life but later they can realise the practical knowledge is also a route to be successful.

people's habits also change with time because their responsibilities can never be remain constant in their lives. As people move forward they indulge in full-time work, getting marriage or raising children so, because of these responsibilities people's have to adopt change their lifestyle. For example, a person can get-up late in morning, eat irregularly and can be less socialize but after getting a job that person cannot wake up late, exercise daily and cannot eat irregular and unhealthy food they have to follow a more strict schedule .

To conclude, I am strictly agree with that normally people change their habits and opinions over time and it is crucial for them because the stages of like can never be remain constant. They have to be more responsible and be independent over the time

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt clearly and maintains a consistent position throughout. The ideas are relevant, such as the influence of professional life and personal responsibilities on changing habits. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive, and the examples provided, while relevant, could be more sophisticated to reach a higher band. The conclusion reinforces the main argument, but the overall development is slightly limited in depth. To improve, ensure that each paragraph introduces a distinct, well-elaborated point rather than restating the same concept of 'responsibilities' multiple times.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First primary reason', 'For instance', and 'To conclude'. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'As people move forward they indulge in full-time work, getting marriage or raising children so, because of these responsibilities people's have to adopt change their lifestyle'. The use of referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used naturally would enhance the coherence of the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the student to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'indulge' and 'perspectives', but there are also instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'getting marriage' instead of 'getting married' and 'less socialize' instead of 'less social'. The range is sufficient to communicate the message, but the lack of precision and occasional errors in word formation prevent a higher score. Focusing on collocations and accurate word forms will help.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that, while not impeding communication, are noticeable. Examples include 'I am largely agree' (should be 'I largely agree'), 'people's have to adopt' (should be 'people have to adopt'), and 'stages of like can never be remain constant' (should be 'stages of life can never remain constant'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. To improve, the student should focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of auxiliary verbs to ensure greater accuracy in complex sentences.
