Student answer (Band 5.5)
Changing is the law of nature and its very common among people when they are getting older their not only opinion but also their habits change. I think its true so i agree with this.
first of all, by changing in time person become more responsible and more focus about their future so we can see some changing in everyone life. For example, in our childhood we neither have responsibility nor have stress , so we can do everything whatever we want such as sleep at late night and wake up late in the morning , playing games even indoor and outdoor too but after some time people don't have time for this type of things even he wants to do but because of unavailibility of free time he can't do.
if person get old, their opinion change or not? without any doubts its very true, because age by age their experience also gaining so they suggested to every one do not mistake which they already did in their life. For instance, we have two group one with youngster and others with aged people, somebody tells then using phone all the time is good way to understands the world rather than going outside, so experience person always go outside to explore the world than scrolling on technology.
To conclude. every body has there own opinion regarding this statement but i am totally agree with this, because i think that when the person get older their habits and their opinion changes.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by agreeing that habits and opinions change with age. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you provide examples like childhood habits versus adult responsibilities, the explanation is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. The argument regarding opinions changing due to experience is relevant but remains superficial. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'why' and 'how' of these changes with more sophisticated reasoning and clearer links to the prompt. The position is clear, but the supporting points could be more fully developed to provide a more comprehensive response.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, phrases like 'first of all' and 'for instance' are used, but the transitions between sentences within paragraphs are sometimes abrupt or confusing, such as in the second paragraph. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult to track the subject matter. The concluding paragraph is very brief and does not effectively summarise the main points. Improving the flow between sentences and using a wider variety of linking words would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'changing', 'good', and 'things'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'experience also gaining' instead of 'gaining experience' and 'experience person' instead of 'experienced person'. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of more sophisticated or academic vocabulary limits the score. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more precise synonyms to express your ideas more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. Frequent errors in grammar and punctuation are present, such as 'its very common' (it's), 'their not only opinion' (their opinions), and 'if person get old' (if a person gets old). Subject-verb agreement and article usage are problematic throughout the text. While these errors rarely prevent the reader from understanding the main message, they are frequent enough to impact the flow and clarity of the writing. Focusing on basic grammatical accuracy and proofreading for common errors would significantly improve your score.
