Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is often observed that habits and thinkinges changes as people gets older. I almost agree with this statement and will give the reasons in the upcoming paragraphs with example to support my opinion.
One reason for changing their habits and opinion is the responsibily and maturity. As people gets old their responsibilities increases as they have to think for their family and for financial support and they have to save money to give their family a better life and future. Also not only this they also have to change their eating habits. For an instance, people at young age like to eat fast food, sweets etc but when they get old problems arise they cannot eat oily food as it increases their chestrol, they cannot eat sweets as it increases their sugar level in the body.
Other reason for changing their habits is the way of thinking as the people gets older the gain more knowledge of each and everything for example some people think the academic knowledge is the only way to succes but later when they enter a work place their thinking changs as the practicle knowledg, hand skills are more important for success.
Apart from this not every one them changes with the time as some people always want their inner child to be live. They don't want to change their opinion for life. Nevertheless, even such people are likely to modify certain aspects of their behaviour and opinion in response to changing circumstances.
In conclusion, I totally agress that changing habits and opinion is naturally part of growing older. Although inner values remains relatively stable, increased responsibilites and accumulated life experience.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing why habits and opinions change with age. The position is clear, although the introduction is slightly contradictory by stating 'I almost agree' and then later saying 'I totally agress'. The ideas are relevant, covering responsibilities, health, and professional perspectives. However, the development is somewhat limited; for instance, the point about 'inner child' is introduced but not fully integrated into the overall argument. To reach a higher band, you should ensure your position is consistent throughout and provide more depth to your supporting examples, ensuring they are fully explained rather than just listed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'One reason for', 'Also', 'For an instance', and 'In conclusion'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Also not only this they also have to change'. Additionally, some transitions between sentences are abrupt. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that your referencing (e.g., 'not every one them') is grammatically accurate to improve the flow between ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'responsibilities', 'maturity', and 'accumulated life experience'. However, there are several spelling errors ('thinkinges', 'responsibily', 'chestrol', 'practicle', 'agress') and word choice issues ('chestrol' for cholesterol, 'be live' for stay alive). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader. To improve, focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic words and practice using collocations more accurately to enhance the sophistication of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('habits and thinkinges changes', 'people gets old', 'responsibilities increases', 'inner values remains'). These errors occur throughout the text and indicate a lack of control over basic grammatical rules. While the meaning is usually clear, the frequency of these slips prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading your work specifically for subject-verb agreement and pluralisation to ensure your writing is more accurate.
