Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is ongoing debate regarding whether it is very widespread for people to change both their habits and their opinions as they get older. Nowadays, as people get older, they behave more maturely than their young age. Moreover, changes in their habits and opinions have a huge impact on our daily lives. For instance, our parents are retired discuss with them some topics they have authentic and impressve opinion on those topics. However, they have a lot of experience and have learned a lot from other peoples behaviuor, additionlly they do not let us suffer from the difficulties they faced in their past.
From my perspective, when people get older, they change a lot; their presence of mind and working speed, health, and energy effects worsley on their good memory. They feel useless in the home. Furthermore, their habits change a lot if a person gets sick, and they become grumpier. Sometimes they talk to themselves.
This is the modern era; everyone is very busy and bustling in their routine. Many of us do not have time to talk with our elder peolple i needed us. Additionally, there are so many things to discuss with older people regarding their habits and opinions.
In the conclusion, i totally agree with this its widespread when people gets older they change alot many chaning in their habits boady language physicaly mentally.fortuntely, their opinion surely mature as they look like. We need to appreciate their opinion and habits and try to spend some time together without any hesitation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by agreeing that habits and opinions change with age. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you provide some examples, such as the impact of retirement on parents, the connection between these examples and the core argument is often unclear. For instance, the transition to discussing health and memory issues in the second paragraph feels somewhat disconnected from the initial point about opinions. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed argument that directly supports your position. The conclusion is present but lacks a clear summary of the main points discussed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the logical flow between sentences is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and a lack of clear cohesive devices. For example, the transition 'This is the modern era' is abrupt and does not effectively link to the previous paragraph. Additionally, the use of referencing is sometimes confusing, such as 'they look like' in the conclusion, which lacks a clear antecedent. To achieve a higher score, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in contrast') to guide the reader through your arguments more smoothly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'effects worsley' (should be 'affects negatively') and 'bustling in their routine'. Spelling errors are frequent, including 'impressve', 'behaviuor', 'additionlly', 'peolple', 'boady', and 'fortuntely'. These errors occasionally make it difficult for the reader to follow your intended meaning. To improve, try to expand your vocabulary by learning collocations and focusing on accurate spelling. Using more precise academic vocabulary would also help elevate the tone of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people gets older', 'many chaning'), incorrect word forms, and punctuation errors. Many sentences are fragmented or lack the necessary structure to be considered complex. For example, 'many chaning in their habits boady language physicaly mentally' is not a complete sentence. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring subjects and verbs agree, and practicing the correct use of articles and prepositions.
