Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is commonly seen that most of the people change their habits and thinking when they are getting old, however i consider it is not implement on all. I totally agree with this statement because by getting older body changes come and they changed their opinions and habits.
Commence with, as life changing with a certain pace which keep impacting on each and everyone livings. Due to this, individuals daily routines and their visions are continuosuly refershing. For example, a boy aged 17 years old learning in school, while his teaching he has been giving seating to study straighty 8-10 hrs/ day. Wheras, when the same boy turned to 30 years he will not able to seat in any work with the same habits that he was having before, is'nt it?. Morover, variations come across different ages of people that makes them self dependent and responsible.
Another point , is the lossing capabilities and willingness . In other words, since this busy life and fast paced working schedules and exhaustic envornoment because of this the major factor behind their habits and opinions. For instance, an old man about age 65 he is not able to reads easily and walk fastly , not because he dont want to do that only due to his losing his capabilities and power of willing to doing anything. Since, due to this its very common to say that habits and opinions are changing as getting older.
In conclusion, as the time keep moving without any hurdles, everyones are also growing and thier way of thinking capabilities , power of doing something are also changing. "None of the glaciers has the same height every year"

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing why habits and opinions change with age. However, the development of ideas is somewhat inconsistent. The first body paragraph attempts to explain changes through physical capacity, but the example of a 17-year-old student is not clearly linked to a change in 'opinion' or 'habit' in a logical way. The second body paragraph focuses on physical decline, which is relevant but feels slightly repetitive. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments lack depth and precision, often relying on generalizations that are not fully explored. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and a more logical progression of ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between and within them is often mechanical or disjointed. Transitions like 'Commence with' and 'Another point , is' are used incorrectly or awkwardly. The use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'due to this' or 'since'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the argument's progression. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks the logical connectivity required for a higher band score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and often inaccurate. There are several instances of non-standard word choices or incorrect collocations, such as 'exhaustic envornoment', 'losing capabilities', and 'power of willing'. Spelling errors are frequent (e.g., 'continuosuly', 'thier', 'envornoment'). While the student attempts to use some academic-style vocabulary, the lack of precision and the presence of errors often impede the clarity of the message. To improve, focus on learning word families and common collocations rather than attempting complex words that are not used correctly in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement ('everyones are', 'most of the people change... i consider it is not implement'), incorrect sentence structure ('as life changing with a certain pace which keep impacting'), and punctuation errors (misuse of commas and apostrophes). While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, they are often poorly constructed and contain errors that cause some difficulty for the reader. The control over basic grammar is inconsistent, which significantly impacts the overall quality of the writing.
