In this modern era, it is often argued that youth is spending more time in using technology such as mobilephones and socail media which impact their studies and realtionships adversely. The main causes are parents are working afterhours and advancement of technology. This problem can be tackled by strict schedule of parents, and put some restrictions on usage of technology.

Firstly, now both the parents are working, and they are not spending quality time with thier families, hence, children are using smartphones and socail media to keep themselves busy. For instance, mothers are so occupied with their work that if their children needs them, instead of helping them, they hire nanies to raise their child. In this case, child never get emotional connection with her mother. Secondly, students are using AI for their assignments, and even their exams which is making them lazy.

There are some solutions that we can you to tackle this situation. Parents should avoid answering office phone calls when they are home, and they should be followed a strict rule of not using smart phones on dinning table.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 3.0

The response is significantly off-topic. The prompt asks about changing habits and opinions as one ages, but the essay discusses the impact of technology on youth and parental work habits. Furthermore, the response is only 182 words, failing the 250-word minimum requirement. Because the essay does not address the prompt at all, it cannot be assessed for task development or position. It is essentially a response to a different question, which results in a very low score for Task Achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, and there is some attempt at logical sequencing using transition words like 'Firstly' and 'Secondly'. However, the lack of a clear central argument related to the prompt makes the overall progression difficult to follow. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the connection between ideas is mechanical. While the paragraphing is present, the lack of a relevant thesis statement or a coherent conclusion that addresses the actual prompt limits the effectiveness of the structure.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are several spelling errors, such as 'mobilephones', 'socail', 'realtionships', 'thier', 'nanies', and 'dinning'. The range of vocabulary is basic and lacks the flexibility or precision required for higher bands. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the frequent spelling mistakes and the reliance on simple, everyday language prevent the essay from demonstrating a sufficient range for a higher score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay relies on simple sentence structures with frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'youth is spending' (subject-verb agreement), 'if their children needs them' (subject-verb agreement), and 'they should be followed a strict rule' (incorrect passive voice). Punctuation is generally functional, but the lack of complex structures and the frequency of basic errors in tense and agreement indicate a limited grammatical range and accuracy.
