Student answer (Band 5.5)
It's very popular that many people change both thier habits and thier opinions when they get older, I completely agree about this perspective. You know different focus , different strokes.
Most people when they get older they begin to be more realistic in how to resolve issues and the way to behave with other people. Old people always try to find stability and lives in quit calmer places camparing with old peoples they took always to find crowded places for more entertainment and satisfactions. Like nightclubs or concert.
When we lookung forward about acommodation, Old poeple search to install in suitable houses spaced and comfortable with green spaces even for small garden. They search to alleviate stress and enjoy natural. In front of living at a flat on a big city where it was affected by many factors of disturbing like traffic congestion, noisy pollution and air pollution. But the difference with old people is that younger always search to find places closer to their jobs where they found public transport , more confortable accommodation .
In other hand, Old poeple have a great experience of their lives, so they can find easily the best way how to communicate or how to deal with a bunch of issues pop up without any hesitation or fear. They can show maturity of good behaviour to resolve problems.
On general, i agree that people when they get older their habits and their opinions about the life style goes to change and it represents their personalty and their maturity.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by agreeing that habits and opinions change with age. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and occasionally repetitive. While you provide examples regarding accommodation and social behavior, the explanation of why opinions change is underdeveloped. The essay maintains a clear position throughout, but the arguments could be more deeply explored to reach a higher band. The structure is functional, but the content lacks the depth required for a higher score. Ensure that each paragraph provides a clear, well-supported reason rather than just listing observations.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'In other hand' and 'On general'. Some transitions between sentences are abrupt, making the flow feel disjointed. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly when comparing younger and older generations. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases more naturally to connect your ideas and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that guides the reader through your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range expected at higher levels. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'quit calmer places' (likely meaning 'quiet') and 'install in suitable houses' (likely meaning 'settle'). Spelling errors like 'thier' and 'poeple' occur frequently, which detracts from the overall quality. While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'traffic congestion' and 'maturity', the overall control is inconsistent. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise collocations and focusing on accurate spelling will significantly improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences often contain grammatical errors. There are frequent issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'younger always search' and 'their habits... goes to change'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with comma splices present in the introduction. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of grammatical errors—including tense inconsistencies and word order issues—impedes the flow of the text. To improve, practice constructing complex sentences using subordinating conjunctions and focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and tense consistency.
