IELTS Writing Task 2 question
It is very common for people to change both their habits and their opinions as they get older.
Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays it is very usual for person to change their habits and their views as they get older. I am agree with this statement because it is common now but some people never change it how old he or she is does not matter.
To commence with the view that people change their habits and opinions as they grow older because of their nature. To elaborate it, as in young age people like to go on mountains or trips with friends but as they grow they lost interest in it. For example, if some one like something in age of 20 does not means at the age of 50 their like or dislike are same they might be change over the time.thus, persons opinion and habits change over the time.
On the other hand, some individuals does not change their habits and thoughts over the time because they very strict to their view or habits. To explain it, some people set some rules, habits and their opinions about something never change does not matter if other people like or dislike him regarding this. For instance, if individuals like to stay single no matter what other say about him or her if they do not like marry someone so no one change their opinion or view about marriage. As a result they always fallows the same habits or opinions.
In conclusion, I believe that people should change their thoughts and habits according to the situation. If they feel change does not effect other or change is something for a good then they sure change their habits and views.
