To begin with the pridoment favourable reason is , maturity. When people are getting old . their habits and opinions also fluctuate with more exploration of the sorroundings . With broad horizone of knowledge and strong intlectual thinking foster a sense of giving right thoughts as per experiences grab through mistakes. To cite an example. which lessons learn from mistakes population has done in young age , these learnings insist to develop new opinions in old age . consequently , make new thoughts has become common as people get older.
Adding more , in teenage no one knows real habits . younger generation follows others and become habitual of doing anything ,which they make a powerful habit of themselves. however as they gothrough the adult to old generation, a strong realisation force to get rid of that particular habit which is a nonsense according to old age perspectives. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt regarding whether people change habits and opinions as they get older, taking a clear supportive position. The ideas presented are relevant, such as the role of maturity and learning from mistakes, and are illustrated with an example about overeating in teenage years versus adulthood. However, some ideas tend to be slightly repetitive or under-developed, particularly in the introduction and conclusion, which lack deeper expansion. The position is maintained throughout the response, and the arguments are generally straightforward and easy to follow. To achieve a higher band score, the candidate should ensure all body paragraphs fully extend their arguments with more nuanced examples and avoid overly generalized statements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, showing a clear overall arrangement with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'however', and 'For example' are used to structure the text, though some transitions feel a bit mechanical or awkward, such as 'Adding more , in teenage'. Paragraphing is utilized, but the internal logical progression within paragraphs occasionally falters due to punctuation errors and dense phrasing, making referencing slightly unclear at times. While the flow is understandable, improving the sophistication of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences will elevate this criterion further.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The candidate demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common terms such as 'elucidate', 'pridoment', 'detrimental', and 'contemporary era'. However, there are numerous spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, including 'individulas' instead of individuals, 'chnaging' instead of changing, 'pridoment' instead of predominant, 'sorroundings' instead of surroundings, 'intlectual' instead of intellectual, and 'harzardous' instead of hazardous. These errors sometimes highlight a lack of precision, though they do not severely impede overall communication. A wider, more accurately controlled vocabulary and better attention to spelling are required for higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety in structure through conditional-like clauses and relative pronouns. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, featuring frequent errors such as subject-verb agreement issues ('people are getting old . their habits...'), incorrect verb tenses ('are chnaging', 'has become common'), awkward phrasing ('force to get rid of'), and persistent punctuation and spacing errors (e.g., spaces before full stops and commas). While the meaning is generally clear despite these mistakes, the high frequency of grammatical slips places this response firmly at band 5.0.
