It is often argued that people tend to change their habits and opinions as they grow older. I agree with this view because people’s priorities, responsibilities and life experiences usually change significantly over time.

Firstly, ageing often leads people to develop different habits. When individuals are young, they may have fewer responsibilities and therefore spend more time socialising, travelling or enjoying entertainment. However, as they get older, their priorities may shift towards work, family and health. For example, a person who regularly eats fast food and stays up late in their twenties may start preparing healthier meals and following a regular sleeping routine after having children. This is mainly because they become more aware of the importance of maintaining good health and setting a positive example for their family.

Secondly, people’s opinions can also change as a result of their experiences. As individuals encounter different people, cultures and situations, they may gain a broader understanding of the world. Consequently, they may reconsider opinions that they held when they were younger. For instance, someone who initially believes that working long hours is the best way to achieve success may change their view after experiencing stress or spending less time with their family. They may eventually place greater importance on work-life balance.

In conclusion, I strongly agree that both habits and opinions commonly change with age. This is because people face new responsibilities and gain valuable experiences throughout their lives, which naturally influences the way they live and think.
