IELTS Writing Task 2 question
It is very common for people to change both their habits and their opinions as they get older.
Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
well it is commonly beleived that as people grow older their daily routines and perceptions on different things changed. to some extent this is true but i am not fully agreed with this statement because its compltely depends on the human behviour and enviroment of their upbringing.
At the young age when childern totally dependent on their guradian they do all the necessary things to make them happy and also their habits and opinions influence by their parents decisions for some extent this is good. Moreover every thing get changed when child grow older and face the reality of this world and things become clear so that reality check change all his opinions completely. For example we always told our young one's to study hard to get a better living but when they enter into they real world and face challenges they realiz study hard is not a good thing to do skills and management are the best things and skills to learn to win this world.
Same rule followed with the habits during upbrinding we help to build different habits like book reading, gardening and many others but when they make friends and go out in the society they invovle into different good and maybe bad habits which is totally depends on their friend circles.
According to me as people get older their opinions about the society drastically changed so their habits as well according to their own friend cirecle and they choose to make them happy and utilixe their free time with great activities they love.
