It is very common for people to change both their habits and their opinions as they get older.

Do you agree or disagree?

Student answer (Band 6.0)

As people grow older, changes in their habits and opinions are commonly seen. I strongly agree with this viewpoint because they learn from their life experiences and changing circumstances. Furthermore, their bodies also changes with time.

First and foremost, the primary reason to support this idea is that I believe that aquring experiences can help individual to learn new aspects of life. Although a person remains same, their way of living changes with the time because they have spent decades in this world. They have undergone multiple circumstances which changes their routine and beliefs. For instance, my father used to spend a lot of money on shopping in his early twenties, he went out of money in his 40s. Hence, realized that he must have to save money for his future so he started making his budget. This experience has completely changed his opinion regarding spending money.

Additionally, another reason to advocate this scenario is that a person body changes with time, he can never be the same for the whole life, therefore, he has to alter himself with the time. Moreover, they have to change their habits. Changing lifestyle with age to remain fit and active in the later ages is the prime example. A person who eats fast food and do not do exercise in his young age has to change his habits to live a healthy life in elderly age.

In conclusion, age-related changes both related to body and mindset is very common due to various situations a person face in his life.
