People often change their opinion and habit when they get older. Some people agree with this statement and other disagree. This essay discuss about my opinion regarding this topic with some examples. I personally believe that this statement is true.
To begin with, there are numerous factors causing change in the perspective of an individual. Firstly, the friends group, they influence the character of an individual significantly. Secondly, the life experience, most of the people have different life experience in different phase of their life. This havepositive as well as negative impact on the behaviour of an individual. Finally, the change in society, the society have changed drastically recently in the aspect of technology and ideology. Moreover, as we know" survival of the fittest " to adapt in the highly competative world, the individual have to change their opinion and habit accordingly.
For Instance, in my childhood, i always crave for the jungfood, it was my comfort food. in addition, I used to insist my parents to buy the jung food. However, when i get older, I understand the importance of eating healthy food as well as the detrimental effect of having junk food.
To recapitulate, changes are inevitable in this society and in my opinion, the people should adapt with the modern world.eventhough change the habit or opinion only when it demands.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response attempts to address the prompt by discussing whether people change their habits and opinions as they grow older, presenting a clear personal position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For example, the reasons listed in the second paragraph—friends, life experiences, and societal changes—are stated rather than fully extended or explained with strong supporting details. Furthermore, the length requirement has not been met, as the text contains only 223 words against the minimum of 250 words. This under-length impacts the overall completeness of the task, leading to a penalty under Task Achievement where ideas cannot be fully elaborated.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay displays a basic overall organisation with clear paragraphing, including an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used to signal progression, such as 'To begin with', 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'For Instance'. However, cohesion can be mechanical and awkward at times, and referencing is occasionally faulty, such as in the sentence 'This have positive as well as negative impact'. Paragraphing is present, but the concluding paragraph is disjointed and difficult to follow due to grammatical confusion ('eventhough change the habit or opinion only when it demands'). Overall, the logical progression is hindered by these structural and cohesive flaws.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, featuring some attempts at less common words and phrases, such as 'inevitable', 'detrimental effect', and 'survival of the fittest'. However, there are notable word choice and spelling errors throughout the response, including 'jungfood' instead of 'junk food', 'competative' instead of 'competitive', and awkward phrasing like 'crave for the jungfood' and 'insist my parents to buy'. While the meaning is generally clear despite these inaccuracies, the limited flexibility and recurring lexical errors restrict the score to a Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar and punctuation is inconsistent. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('the society have changed', 'the individual have to change', 'most of the people have different life experience'), incorrect prepositions ('in different phase of their life'), and punctuation mistakes around quotation marks and capitalization ('i always crave', 'i get older'). Additionally, sentence boundaries and structure in the conclusion are severely compromised ('eventhough change the habit or opinion only when it demands'). These frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader.
