Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argued that people who getting older ,their habits, behavior and perspective have been changed. I strongly agree with this notion that senior citizen has been changed with the passage of time because they have experience from their whole life and they took decisions accordingly. Today, youth is totally involved in technology and have different point of view from the elders.
First and formost reason that why i agree to this statement is the experience which the older people gained from their life's experience. They know what is right and wrong for them and make decision accordingly. For instance, seniors know how to deal with the people with short tempered. Instead of arguing they make them understand the fact behind every aspects of life.Consequently, they make decisions after finding the logic behind every task and that decision is always right because they have experience for that.
Secondly, with increasing age people's habits also has been changed. At this age individual mostly want to spend most of their time at home with their grandchildren. They want to have free time their hobbies such as gardening, knitting becasue at their young age they mostly busy in their work did not get much time for them self. For exmaple, Att their young age they prefer to do work as much as they can and at old age they changed this habit and prefer to spent time on their favourite chores. As a result, this thing make them active and busy for the day.
To recapitulate, i reiterate that while people getting older, their point of views and habits both are changed with the passage of time.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position agreeing that people change habits and opinions as they get older. The writer introduces relevant ideas such as the accumulation of life experience and changing daily priorities, supporting them with examples like dealing with short-tempered individuals and spending time on hobbies like gardening and knitting. However, some ideas tend to over-generalize, and the development could be extended further to reach a higher band level. Despite these limitations, all parts of the task are addressed with a clear overall position throughout, aligning well with the Band 6 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a concluding summary. Cohesive devices such as 'First and formost', 'Secondly', 'For instance', and 'Consequently' are used to structure the text, though some referencing and connective choices are a bit mechanical or faulty, such as 'reason that why i agree'. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct points regarding experience and changing habits. While logical progression is generally maintained, occasional clunky transitions prevent the response from achieving a higher band, placing it solidly at Band 6.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to communicate their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary and topic-specific items, such as 'perspective', 'senior citizen', and hobbies like 'gardening' and 'knitting'. However, there are noticeable lexical errors and awkward word choices, such as 'people who getting older', 'whole life's experience', and spelling mistakes like 'formost' and 'becasue'. These errors do not seriously impede communication, but they restrict the lexical score to Band 5.5, reflecting a mix of adequate resource and frequent minor inaccuracies.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, including conditional and relative clauses. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as tense inconsistencies and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'people who getting older ,their habits, behavior and perspective have been changed', 'habits also has been changed', 'they mostly busy in their work did not get much time for them self'). Punctuation and spacing issues are also present, such as missing spaces after commas. Although these errors rarely completely impede communication, they occur with enough frequency to restrict the score to Band 5.0.
