IELTS Writing Task 2 question
It is very common for people to change both their habits and their opinions as they get older.
Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern era, changing the habits and opinions according to time and circumstances have become a common thing. Thesedays, it is very common for masses to change thier opinions and habits according to their age. I totally agree with this development and i will dicuss some reaons behind this development in the upcoming paragraphs.
The first and foremost reason is that people get more experience in their life. They know the world better with their own experiences and knoweldge.For instance, in the young age they have not only teachers and parents pressure but not school friends. Sometimes they take the decisions by pressure, but when they grow older they know what is right and wrong, what is profit or non-profit then they easily change their opinions. Secondly, circumstances also matter. They change their habits when they know that things not good for them. For example fast food they eat alot when they were young or kids but when they know thats are not healthy for their bodies then they give up and start eating healthy diet such as, green vegetables and fruits.
Furthermore older people have a more knowldge instead of younger. Sometimes they do not want to repeat the mistakes in their lives again thats the reason they change their decisions accordingly. Moreover, when masses know the value of good habits and healthy life style then they also change their attidue towards the something.
I fully agree with this afroementioned notion due to some certain reasons because human nature change everytime according to situations and by experience. So, it is very common to change habits and ideas when people get older.
Although changing ideas and habits is a good things but not all the time it makes more confusion in the lifes.
