It is very common for people to change both their habits and their opinions as they get older.

Do you agree or disagree?

Student answer (Band 6.0)

It is very ordinary for an individual to alter their habits and their perspective as they get older. I completely agree with the statement because as we approach our earlier 30s and 40s, your exposure to society is so much that you start understanding the things on your own. You start understanding the life, and you become calm and more mature than ever.

In childhood when an individual goes to school, they start to understand how society works; they understand what is transaction, emotions, and how to be neat and tidy in some manner, but they lack something because of their immature nature. As they grow old, they start understanding relationships, how money works, and how to be good people in the society. All because now they are exposed to the outer world other than their family.

As they cross their teenage years, they meet new people, gain new experiences, and try to become something in their lives so they can become a good fit for a society. After passing all these stages of life, an individual involuntarily becomes humble and more disciplined towards their lives. They make their good daily routine, work on forming good habits and make deep and good friendships. Their opinion does change, and it changes for good. Sometimes it might go wrong, but it's life; at least they stick to their opinion and work on them.

In conclusion, it's very common that individuals change their habits and opinions to become better human beings, and the responsibilities grow; a person also changes with time.
