IELTS Writing Task 2 question

It is very common for people to change both their habits and their opinions as they get older.

Do you agree or disagree?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

In these days it become the common trends to change their habits and opinions according to change in age matter . I agree with this trends why few individuals change their habits and opinions when they become elder. This eassy will discuss this problem in upcoming paragrphs not only health issue but also change their family members.

First and formost, the reason why older individuals alter their routine and view because of health problem. Due the health issues, they are unable to get up early morning beacuse in this age they suffer from various diseases such as asthama, blood preasue, low and high sugar level thats why their body become weak and they do not follow the same routine as compare to their young age .

Furthermore, due to change behaviour of their family members because when become older their family not treate as well as not interested to take care of them like as when they are younger . For example not only in India but also in forgein countires their family are busy in their own works and their grandchildern not interested to take care of them that time they decide to send them in oldage home where they change their lifestyle and viewpoint also follow the environment which is provided in oldage home care so thats why give the preferance to their either habits or lifestyle.

In conclusion, although it may be have positive effect but negative impact are considered more which should not be negelected. Not only their family behaviour influnce but also health issues are transformed to modify both thier routine and perspective when they become elder.
