Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is frequently observed that people change their habits and opinions as they get older. I wholeheartedly agree with this statement that it really happens in our society.
To began with, human habits undergo substantial tranformations including physiological changes, routine set, eating habits. Looking at the young adult's eating habits, they use to consume unhealthy junk even at the middle of the night and spend nights in parties and other activities. The same adult, when start aging, it necome necessaru to shift to the healthy lifestyle. Now the man carefully follow the healthy routine, spare time for workout, late night junk shift to healthy diet. This is not one night miracle, as the age number increases every year out body start giving signals that it's time to stop all this. Futhermore family commintments urge older adults to abandon implustive activities and just focus the time management habits.
As far as the concern of opinions, it also changes with the age because the transition from a young adult to an older adult, people went through several highs and lows of life. Young adults are usually high in energy and never setback. Adolescents and young adults expose to same circumstances and react differently, the increasing digits of age demand reaction accordingly. For instance, a young graduate prefer wealth as the prime asset while the older ones believe emotional tranqality is far more precious and important in life.
In conclusion, I firlmy maintain that growing older naturally reshapes both personal conduct and philosophical viewpoint. Inevitable bodily changes demand strict daily habits while real world exposure softens the rigid opinions, resulting in more balance way to normal life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by clearly stating an opinion on whether people change their habits and opinions as they get older. A clear position is maintained throughout the essay. Relevant ideas are presented, such as the transition from unhealthy youth habits to health-conscious older routines, and how life experiences shift a person's view on wealth versus emotional tranquility. However, some ideas are slightly under-developed; for instance, the explanation of how adolescents react differently could have been elaborated further to fully reach the higher band. The response successfully covers the prompt requirements with relevant examples, satisfying the criteria for this level while showing glimpses of better task extension.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear overarching progression. Each paragraph has a discernible focus, moving from an introduction to body paragraphs discussing habits and opinions respectively, and concluding with a summary. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To began with', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion', though referencing and transitions can occasionally feel a bit mechanical or faulty, as seen in sentences like 'As far as the concern of opinions'. Paragraphing is used sufficiently and appropriately, guiding the reader through the writer's arguments. This performance fully meets the lower band requirements and starts demonstrating the logical sequencing expected at higher levels.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The writer uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'physiological changes', 'emotional tranqality', and 'philosophical viewpoint'. However, there are noticeable lexical errors in word choice, form, and spelling—such as 'tranformations', 'necome necessaru', 'firlmy', and 'tranqality'—alongside awkward phrasing like 'the age number increases' and 'never setback'. These errors do not seriously impede communication, allowing the reader to grasp the main points easily. To move to the next band, the student needs to demonstrate a more precise control of word choice and collocation, while eliminating spelling inaccuracies.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The essay exhibits a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating an attempt to use relative clauses and conditional-like structures, such as 'The same adult, when start aging, it necome necessaru to shift...'. There are some errors in grammar, articles, verb forms, and punctuation throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues like 'our body start giving signals' and tense inconsistencies like 'they use to consume'. Despite these errors, they rarely impede communication. The writer shows good control in many simple sentence structures, fulfilling the requirements of this band by providing a foundation of mixed structures alongside manageable grammatical slips.
