Student answer (Band 5.0)
In modern era the opinions and habits are changing by time, these both things affected by time, age and company. I am agree with the statement and according to me this is a good change.
First and formost, from starting to ending a person go from many stages and at all the stages he change something for example as a child if a person like to buy some toys them as a adult he will not like to do same thing and same thing happened with other things in all the phases like eating, working, enjoying and all other habbits and with the help of these changes a peson will adjust himself in the socity easily.
Furthermore, we can say that as a person is experiencing the things in reality so their opinions will start changing. For instant, a man was dreaming to buy a costly car but he want to stay at home all day like he donot want to work hard so he will not be able to complete his dream and if he want to fullfil his dream so he has to change his habbit, leave his comfortzone and try to work hard so he will able to achive what he wants.
At the end, I would like to say that only if a person want to reache on his goal so they deffinetly change their good or bad habbits and opinions. That thing will help people to make their life easy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task only partially, as it presents a position and some general arguments about how habits and opinions change over time, but the ideas remain quite limited and under-developed. For example, the explanation regarding childhood toys versus adult preferences is stated simply without deep exploration of the underlying psychological or social reasons. Furthermore, the length requirement is not met, as the response falls five words short of the minimum 250-word count. To reach a higher band, you need to fully extend and support your arguments with more robust, specific examples and ensure you comfortably exceed the minimum word limit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays some organisation and attempts basic paragraphing, but there is a lack of clear overall progression. While you use transition markers like 'First and formost' and 'Furthermore', the cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, and referencing is not always clear (for instance, jumping between general societal shifts and personal examples). Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal logical flow between sentences often feels disjointed. To improve, you should ensure that each paragraph builds smoothly upon the previous one with a clear central topic and precise, natural cohesive links rather than repetitive structural connectors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task. There are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling throughout the essay, such as 'formost' instead of foremost, 'habbit' instead of habit, 'socity' instead of society, 'deffinetly' instead of definitely, and phrasing like 'a person go from many stages'. These errors and spelling mistakes cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a restricted lexical range. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on developing a wider vocabulary, using correct word forms consistently, and mastering common collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying mostly on simple or faulty complex sentences. There are frequent errors in grammar, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'these both things affected', 'a person like'), missing articles, and incorrect prepositions inside grammatical patterns (e.g., 'from starting to ending a person go from many stages'). Your attempts at complex sentences often contain structural faults that can cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, work on diversifying your sentence structures, ensuring accurate verb tenses, and mastering basic agreement rules to reduce the frequency of errors.
