Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is undoubtedly true that the habits of a individuals is change according to the environment of a place and also with the time their thinking process will also impact.I firmly Agree with this given notion and the reason for the same will be expatiated in the forthcoming subsequent paragraphs.
To embark upon, there are myriad of reasons behind my agreement. The first and foremost is that the changes occurs in elder people is majorly due to influence of social media and the surrounding environment. For instance, elder people at home mostly watch television for awareness and their thinking is also change with the help of entrainment platforms. Moreover, they had a great experience of life and they faced a variety of problems in their life's and this is why they changed their perspective regarding to any problems.like, in today's time clothing pattern is change than in ancient time so they are adapt the new culture with the influence of their young ones.
Additionally, the family is one of the major factor to help the elders to develop new skills and change their behaviour and owing to which they are able to live their lives happy.
On the contrary side,a section of society is oppose this views because they think the older people habits and behaviour never change with the influence of time they always follow their traditional habits. For example, elder individual never forget to do prayer of God in the early morning.Hence they never change their good habits.
To conclude, although a group of society disagree with this statement but I strongly agree with this given views due to above-mentioned reasons.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing how and why people change their habits and opinions over time, while maintaining a clear position that agrees with this statement. Relevant ideas are presented, such as the influence of social media and changing cultural norms like clothing patterns, fulfilling the requirements for this level. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others, and a few points remain somewhat under-developed or unclear. For instance, the discussion regarding family support or the counterargument about traditional habits lacks deeper extension and specific elaboration. To reach the next level, the writer needs to provide more fully developed explanations and extend their supporting examples with greater clarity throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear stance stated in the introduction and reinforced in the conclusion. Paragraphing is utilised to separate main ideas, including a dedicated counterargument paragraph. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical, and referencing is not always clear. Phrases like 'To embark upon' and 'On the contrary side' show an attempt to use cohesive devices, but they are slightly unnatural or inaccurate in context. Additionally, some transitions between sentences feel abrupt. To improve, the writer should ensure that cohesive devices are used more naturally and that the logical progression between sentences and paragraphs is smoother and more explicitly connected.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'expatiated', 'perspective', and 'traditional habits'. However, there are noticeable limitations and inaccuracies in word choice, collocation, and word formation. Examples include 'the habits of a individuals is change', 'changes occurs', 'entrainment platforms', and 'life's'. Spelling and morphological slips, such as 'is change' instead of 'change' or 'adapt' instead of 'adapting', appear throughout the text. These errors do not seriously impede communication, but they restrict the lexical score. To achieve a higher band, the writer must expand their resource and demonstrate greater precision and control over less common lexical items, ensuring correct word forms and natural collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety in structure. However, there are frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and agreement that persist across the text. Examples of these issues include subject-verb agreement errors like 'habits of a individuals is change', tense and auxiliary verb misuse such as 'their thinking process will also impact' and 'they had a great experience', and run-on phrasing with missing spaces after punctuation marks. While the meaning is generally understandable despite these issues, the higher frequency of structural inaccuracies keeps the grammar score at this level. To progress, the writer needs to exercise better control over basic grammatical structures, verb patterns, articles, and punctuation to produce error-free sentences more consistently.
