Student answer (Band 5.0)
different peoples have different opinions. opinions are also change with the passage of time. first we talked about the child's opinion. A child have different sort of opinion which is obviously different from the opinion of an adult and an adult opinion have also diffrent from the opinion of an old person. Opinion comes from the passage of time and the experience which are we going through in our lives and the lesson which we got from the situations.
It is true that peopleoften change their habiits and opinions as they grow older. I strongly agree with this view because people gain more experience and their priorities and responsibilities change throughout their lives.
One major reason why people change their habbitsis that their responsibilities usually increase with age. Young people often have fewer commitments and may spend a great deal of time socializing, eating unhealthy food or staying up late. However, when they become adult and start working or raising a family they generally have to adopt a more organisedlifestyle. For Example. a young person may regularly eat fast food whereas after having children, they may begin preparing food at home in a helthier way at homes and follows a fixes daily routine.
In conclusion, I completely agree that both habits and opoinions tend to change as people get older. This is mainlybecause greater responsibilities, life experiences abd important events gradually influences the way people live and think. Such changesare a natural part of personal growth and maturity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task partially, as it presents a clear position agreeing with the prompt, but it falls short of the required 250-word minimum, containing only 248 words. While the main idea that habits and opinions change with age is introduced, the development of ideas remains limited and somewhat repetitive, especially in the opening paragraph where sentences such as 'first we talked about the child's opinion' detract from academic tone and full task elaboration. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to ensure the word count requirement is fully met and extend supporting arguments with more specific examples and thorough explanations rather than relying on brief generalisations.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay shows some organisation with an introduction, a body paragraph, and a conclusion, but lacks a clear overall progression. The use of cohesive devices is sometimes faulty, mechanical, or repetitive, as seen in transitions like 'One major reason why people change their habbitsis' where spacing and linking lack polish. Paragraphing is attempted, but paragraph boundaries and internal sequencing are occasionally disrupted by repetitive thoughts, particularly in the chaotic opening lines. To achieve better cohesion, the writer should employ a wider range of logical connectors more naturally and ensure that each paragraph builds smoothly upon the previous one without disjointed shifts.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate for expressing basic ideas. There are noticeable spelling and word-form errors that may cause some difficulty for the reader, such as 'habbitsis', 'diffrent', 'opoinions', 'abd', and 'helthier'. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary like 'responsibilities' and 'priorities', but the persistent errors in spelling and word choice prevent the writing from achieving a higher score. To improve lexical resource, the student must focus on accurate spelling, appropriate word forms, and expanding their range of functional vocabulary to discuss personal growth and maturity with greater precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing displays a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple sentences or attempts at complex structures that are frequently faulty. Frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and articles cause difficulty for the reader, such as 'A child have different sort of opinion', 'peopleoften change', and 'at homes and follows a fixes daily routine'. Subject-verb agreement issues and punctuation omissions are common throughout the text. To improve in this area, the writer needs to practice forming complex sentences accurately, paying close attention to verb tense consistency, subject-verb agreement, and basic punctuation rules.
