Student answer (Band 6.0)
As people get older , resulting to change their habits and opinions with time is a very common tendency. I completely agree that people's habits and opinions always change over the time.
The primary reason , why I believe that opinions of individuals do not remain similar during their entire life, is expanding their horizon of knowledge with time. Undoubtedly, young people often have immature nature ; they make their opinion towards somehings with that immature perspective. When they gain some knowledge about something , their viewpoint and opinion changed automatically. For instance, teenagers and agults have often different opinions on trivial activities such as playing games or surfing on internet because children do not know how these activities can become a reason of hurdle in their growth.
Observation or friend circle can be a another reason which influence the people to change their habits with time. If a person had friends , it would influence the person to copy their habits. These hobbies can be beneficial or put adverse impact on his life. Moreover, people often adopt those habits or beliefs which suit modern time to be a pert of a society. For example, in past, in many Asian countries, moving to abroad for someone while leaving his parents and family behind was not considered a ideal;however, today's society have positive opinion towards it.
In conclusion, time has a power to change people's habits and viewpoints towards something.Mature nature with knowledge and observation of others are the main reasons behind this shift.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you completely agree that habits and opinions change with age. Both body paragraphs give relevant reasons—greater knowledge can alter opinions, while friends and social expectations can influence habits—and the examples about teenagers and adults and changing attitudes to moving abroad help illustrate these points. This addresses the task well. However, the first example is somewhat unclear: the link between gaming or internet use and “a reason of hurdle in their growth” is difficult to follow, and the second example supports changing social opinions more directly than changing personal habits. To strengthen the response, explain each example more precisely and develop the connection between age and both parts of the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, two reason-based body paragraphs and a conclusion. The progression from knowledge to social influence is logical, and signposts such as “The primary reason,” “Moreover” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument. Some linking is mechanical or unclear, however. The opening phrase “As people get older, resulting to change…” does not form a clear sentence, while “Observation or friend circle can be a another reason” makes the relationship between observation and friends difficult to interpret. Pronouns such as “these hobbies” also do not clearly refer to the habits mentioned. Use more precise topic sentences and make references explicit so the organisation feels smoother and less dependent on formulaic transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “viewpoint,” “immature perspective,” “adverse impact” and “positive opinion,” which helps express the main ideas. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “expanding their horizon of knowledge.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making the meaning less clear: “somehings,” “a reason of hurdle,” “a pert of a society” and “moving to abroad” are examples. “Mature nature” is also not a natural way to describe gaining maturity. Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than more elaborate wording—for example, “broaden their knowledge,” “obstacle to their development” and “be part of society.” Check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including conditional phrasing (“If a person had friends…”) and a relative clause (“habits or beliefs which suit modern time”). The main ideas are generally understandable, but some sentence structures and verb forms are inaccurate. For example, “As people get older, resulting to change…” is an incomplete construction, and “their viewpoint and opinion changed” shifts incorrectly into the past tense. There are also errors in agreement and articles, as in “society have” and “a ideal,” as well as punctuation problems where spaces are missing after full stops and commas. Practise building complete sentences first, then check subject–verb agreement, tense consistency and article use while retaining your attempts at complex forms.
