Student answer (Band 5.5)

In today's rapidly developing world, people are more mature and educated. They easily change their opinions or habits to make others happy or to get better result from something. This approach has an empowering and transformative impact on society. While, I acknowledge the merits of alternative viewpoints, I agree with the given statements and firmly believe that it would yield significant long-term benefits for them and society as whole.

First of all, the most compelling argument is that after certian age people are become more mature and understand the feeling of someone while dealing with them. This is undoubtedly true because it is nature of maturity to handle every situation with calm nature, which profoundly advantageos for individuals to do productive work in their life. Consequenlty, this kind of maturity attract better opportunity. For example, calm person will always have positive approach in their life, which comes through better habit adoption and instant change unnecessary things. It is therefore evident that instant changing habits have progrresive impact.

Moreover, another significant benefits to change opinions and accepts others will help to maintian healthy relation whether it is friendship or relationship. This stems from the fact that accepting others opinion while small comflict or talk would shows how you valued others opnions rather than yours. For example, having nature to values to everyones opnion will bring more happiness and make good impact on someone's life

To conclude, whilst, sometime it gets very hard to change habits and opinions, the merits of flexible nature cannot be overlooked. I agree with the statement and it is imperative that the individual should introduce comprehensive and transparent nature in their life to fit within this competative world

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you agree that people commonly change their habits and opinions as they age, and you give two relevant reasons—greater maturity and healthier relationships. The examples about staying calm and listening to others help connect these reasons to everyday life. However, the response does not fully explain how these changes specifically occur with age; several claims, such as “instant changing habits,” are unclear or not convincingly linked to growing older. The second body paragraph also ends without a fully developed example. To strengthen the response, explain each reason in more detail and use a specific personal or observed example showing how someone’s habits or opinions changed over time.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally follow a sensible order. Linking phrases such as “First of all,” “Moreover” and “To conclude” make the progression easy to follow. At times, however, cohesion feels mechanical, and some connections between sentences are unclear. For instance, the move from maturity to “instant change unnecessary things” does not clearly show how the example supports the main point. The second body paragraph also finishes abruptly, without a concluding sentence that completes its reasoning. Use clearer references and explain the relationship between each example and its main idea; vary transitions rather than relying mainly on formulaic signposts.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “mature,” “transformative impact,” “alternative viewpoints” and “flexible nature.” These choices show an effort to express abstract ideas, but inaccurate word forms, spelling and collocations sometimes make the meaning less clear. Examples include “advantageos,” “progrresive,” “maintian,” and “accepts others,” while “positive approach in their life” is not a natural collocation. Some wording is also vague, such as “get better result from something.” Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully. For example, “accepting others’ opinions” and “build healthier relationships” would express your ideas more accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession in the introduction (“While I acknowledge…”) and a reason clause beginning “because.” This gives the response some structural variety, but errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction are frequent enough to affect clarity. For example, “people are become more mature” should be “people become more mature,” and “another significant benefits” needs singular or plural agreement. In “accepting others opinion … would shows,” the verb form is incorrect, and the opening “While,” is punctuated awkwardly. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb, then review articles and punctuation, especially in longer sentences.
