Student answer (Band 5.5)
According to my perspective when people become older then their thinking of understanding the things is also change as they learn through their experience, While some are reluctant to the change and always remain constant towards their thoughts. So i will discuss both the thoughts in upcoming paragraphs.
On the first side, i feels that when we were young our thoughts are something also like our expectations is only getting good toys, our favourite food, playing with friends, but when the time change and we started getting older and by the changing in our age, our opinion and habits are also change, we are more focused on our goal we become carriar oriented as it is human nature we want to achieve something in life. Also by viewing somethings we start giving our opionion that this thing is not right we should do this instead of that. Also they thought then when they change their habit and surrounding then they learn new things in life.
On the other side, some people are not adapt the change in their nature .They want to same in their thoughts and habits as they like earlier.Because i think they feel that remian to same thing is more satisfactory rather than changing to it regularly. As per my personal example that i see my cousin sister is always has a same scope in life from younger to older that she has to pursue BALLB. studies in her college and now she is doing the same and she has a mindest and focus towards her goal.
To conclude it i feel that changing in behaviur is good because then we will try new thing and enhance our skill and kniwledge by this, so ir is good chnace to view the thing.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the question by explaining why people may change as they age and why some may remain consistent, and your conclusion clearly favours change. The examples about childhood priorities and your cousin’s career goal are relevant. However, the response does not consistently establish whether you agree or disagree with the statement that changing habits and opinions is common; the opening says you will discuss “both the thoughts,” which makes the position sound more like a balanced discussion. Several points are asserted rather than explained, such as how changing one’s surroundings helps people learn. State your degree of agreement directly in the introduction, then develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a specific example. This would make the response more complete and its ideas less limited or under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the first side,” “On the other side,” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the argument. The overall progression is understandable, but some links are mechanical, and the first body paragraph contains several ideas joined by repeated “Also” rather than developed in a clear sequence. References such as “this thing” and “they thought then” are not always clear, so the reader has to infer what they refer to. Organise each paragraph around one main point, use more precise referencing, and connect examples explicitly to the point they support. This would make the cohesion smoother while preserving the clear overall arrangement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “experience,” “expectations,” “focused on our goal,” and “satisfactory,” and you attempt to express ideas about personal development and consistency. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts difficult to understand, such as “thinking of understanding the things,” “carriar oriented,” and “same scope in life.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “opionion,” “mindest,” and “kn iwledge” (written as “kniwledge”), also reduce clarity. Aim for precise, natural phrases rather than translating directly from another language. For example, use “career-oriented,” “maintain the same views,” and “broaden our knowledge.” Proofreading for spelling and choosing familiar collocations accurately will strengthen this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses with “when,” “because,” and “as,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms and agreement occur in phrases such as “our opinion and habits are also change” and “i feels,” while sentence construction is faulty in “when people become older then their thinking … is also change.” Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention; for instance, the opening sentence runs several ideas together and uses a comma where a full stop would be clearer. These problems sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Practise accurate present and past forms, subject–verb agreement, and complete sentence patterns. Shorter, correctly punctuated sentences would help you communicate your ideas more reliably before adding complex clauses.
