Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is common for people to alter their habits and perspectives when they grow older. Although some people may retain the same preferences and beliefs throughout their lives, while others may tend to change as a result of new experiences, responsibilities and change in their circumstances.
One major reason why people's habits change is that their responsibilities and priorities tend to evolve. Young adults, have considerble freedom to spend their time, money and energy in travel and entertainment. However, as they enter full time employment, establish realtionships or have children, they often have to adopt a structured lifestyle. Consequently, habits that were suitable at younger years may no longer be practical. For instance, an individual who regularly stayed up late and eat out during their twenties may begin following healthier routine, preparing meals at home and prioritising sleep after starting a demanding career and becoming a parent.
People's opinions can also change as they gain knowledge and encounter new experiences that challenges previous assumptions. As individual gets exposed to new cultures and prespectives they may reconsider their beliefs that were laregly shaped by family, education, and society. For example, a person initially believes that working in the office is the only reliable way to career path may change their views after experiencing working remotely or meeting someone who have built their careers independently. Such experiences can encourage people to become more open-minded and reasses their opinions.
In conclusion, I largely believe that people may change their habits and opinions as they grow older. Changes in responsilities often influence people's lifestyle, while increased knowlege and expose to different perspectives can cause them reconsider their beliefs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear: you largely agree that habits and opinions change with age, and you address both parts of the question in separate, relevant body paragraphs. The explanation of changing responsibilities is supported with a concrete example of someone adjusting sleep, meals and leisure after becoming a parent. The paragraph on opinions also gives a plausible example involving remote work and career assumptions. This is a well-focused response with ideas extended and supported. To make the development more consistently convincing, explain more precisely how age itself contributes to these changes, rather than relying mainly on new responsibilities or experiences, which can occur at any age. The opening also briefly acknowledges people who retain their beliefs, but does not explore this qualification further.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs organised around habits and opinions, and a conclusion that restates the position. The progression within each paragraph is generally logical, and linking expressions such as “However,” “Consequently,” and “For instance” help show contrast, result and illustration. This gives the essay a coherent foundation. Some connections are less smooth or precise, however. The opening sentence beginning “Although” is not completed as a full contrast, and the conclusion repeats the body points rather than drawing them together in a more developed final insight. There is also some repetition of “change” and “people’s” across the response. More varied referencing and smoother links between claims and examples would strengthen cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.5
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “responsibilities and priorities,” “structured lifestyle,” “previous assumptions,” and “open-minded.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and some phrases show an attempt to be precise. However, several spelling errors and awkward word choices reduce accuracy and flexibility: “considerble,” “realtionships,” “prespectives,” “laರ್ಗely,” “reasses,” “responsilities,” and “knowlege” should be corrected. Some collocations are also unnatural, such as “reliable way to career path” and “expose to different perspectives.” Aim to learn vocabulary in natural combinations, for example “a reliable career path” and “exposure to different perspectives.” Proofreading spelling and checking collocations would make your vocabulary more controlled and fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including clauses with “Although,” “as,” and “after,” and most of your meaning remains clear. Some grammatical errors nevertheless occur across the response. The opening “Although” clause is a fragment because it is not joined to a main clause. In “Young adults, have,” the subject is incorrectly separated from its verb, while “an individual who regularly stayed up late and eat out” has inconsistent verb forms. Other examples include “experiences that challenges” and “As individual gets exposed,” where agreement and article use need attention. The sentence about a person who “initially believes” also shifts awkwardly between present and past forms. Review clause completion, subject–verb agreement, articles and consistent verb forms; these corrections would improve accuracy while preserving your complex sentence attempts.
