Student answer (Band 5.0)
IN THIS CON TEMPORARY ERA, CHANGING HABITS AND OPINIONS ARE COMMON AMONG PEOPLE. BUT I DISAGREE WITH THE NOTION THAT IT IS EASY FOR SOMEONE TO CHANGE HIS OR HER HABIT AND WAY OF THINKINK WHEN THEY GET OLDER.
FIRST OF ALL, PEOPLE ARE LEARNING FROM THEIR CHILDHOOD AND WHAT THEY DO AT THAT TIME ,IT BECOMES THEIR HOBBY OR HABIT LATER. FOR INSTANCE, WHEN A PERSON STARTS LIVING WITH OF DOING SOMETHING WITH A THOUGHT OF COMPLETING THAT TASK , IT BECOMES THAT PERSON'S HABIT THAT HE HAS TO DO IT . SECONDLY, WHEN A PERSON MOVE TO DIFFERENT COUNTRY OR COMMUNITY, HE STARTS TO LIVE WITH HIS OWN HABITS AND HE MEETS AND THINKS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME OPINIONS.
FUTHERMORE , MOST OF THE PEOPLE DO NOT WANT OT CHANGE THEIR WAY OF THINKING. THEY SET THEIR OWN BOUNDARIES AMD LIMITATIONS AND NOONE CAN ALTER THAT HABIT .THESE KIND OF ARE HAPPY IN THEIR OWN PHASE , THEY DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE . THEY THINK THAT IF THEY CHANGE THEIR HABITS IT CHANGES THEIR LIFESTYLE AND EVERYTHING . FOR EXAMPLE, A FRIEND OF MINE, HER HABIT ,HER VIEWPOINT , HER OPINIONS EVRYTHING SAME FROM HER CHILDHOOD . SHE DO NOT WANT TO CAHNGE HERSELF, SHE SAID THAT SHE IS HAPPY WITH IT.
IN THIS WAY , WE ARE LIVING IN A SOCIETY WHERE HABIT AND THOUGHTS OF PEOPLE ARE NOT GETTING CHANGED AS THEY GROW OLDER. ITS THIER OWN WAY OF LIVING AND THAR ARE HAPPY WITH IT.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you disagree that people commonly change their habits and opinions as they grow older. You give relevant reasons, including habits formed in childhood and people feeling content with their established way of life, and the example of your friend supports the latter point. However, the response addresses the question only partially because it mainly asserts that people do not change, without explaining in depth why age makes change difficult or considering the task’s claim that change is common. The point about moving to another country or community is also unclear and does not clearly support your position. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a specific example, and make the link between your evidence and your opinion explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an opening position, supporting points, an example, and a concluding statement. Connectors such as “First of all,” “Secondly,” and “Furthermore” help signal the order of ideas. However, progression is limited because several points repeat the claim that people keep their habits, and the relationship between the point about moving to another country and your argument is difficult to follow. Some sentences also run ideas together, while the final paragraph largely restates the introduction rather than drawing the reasons together. Use one focused paragraph for each main reason, explain how each example supports it, and use referencing and transitions to show the links between ideas rather than relying mainly on sequencing words.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main position, including “habits,” “opinions,” “way of thinking,” “boundaries,” and “lifestyle.” There are also attempts to vary expression with “viewpoint” and “limitations.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are repetitive or imprecise, such as “same opinions” and “own phase,” which make parts of the argument unclear. Spelling errors, including “thinkink,” “futhermore,” and “evrything,” are noticeable and reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise expressions for established behaviour and resistance to change, and check spelling carefully. Using a wider range of accurate topic vocabulary would help you explain your ideas more clearly and avoid repeating the same terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, but control is inconsistent, and errors frequently make the reader work to understand the meaning. For example, “when a person move” has subject–verb disagreement, while “She do not want to change herself” needs a correctly formed auxiliary and verb. The sentence beginning “For instance, when a person starts living…” is difficult to follow because its clauses are not clearly constructed. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and punctuation, as in “These kind of are happy” and the frequent spaces before commas and full stops. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using clear subordinate clauses. Check agreement and verb forms in every sentence.
