Change is an inevitable factor of everyting in this world. Be it technology or even humans their habits or their opinions. It has been fairly observed that with age people's habits and perspective changes. It could be due to increased personal or professional resposibilities or being exposed to better perspectives either at work or over the internet. I largely agree to this belief. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
Your position is clear: “I largely agree,” and you give relevant reasons, including increased responsibilities and learning from mistakes. However, the response addresses the task only partially. The second part of the prompt—how people’s opinions change—is mentioned in the introduction but not explained with a developed reason or example. The ideas about routines and responsibilities are also asserted rather than supported with specific details, and the final sentence about acceptance is left unfinished. The response is substantially below the required 250 words, which limits how fully you can explain your reasons and provide relevant examples. Develop both habits and opinions, and support each point with a concrete example from experience or general knowledge.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some organisation: the opening introduces the topic and your position, followed by a paragraph giving reasons. Linking expressions such as “Also” and “Nonetheless” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, the response has no developed conclusion, and the second paragraph moves quickly between responsibilities, mistakes, growth and acceptance without explaining how these points relate. The phrase “This essay will explore the reasons for my preference” promises a discussion that the response does not go on to provide. To improve progression, give each main reason its own clear explanation and example, use references that make connections explicit, and finish with a brief conclusion that restates your view.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “personal or professional responsibilities,” “perspectives,” and “resistance to growth.” These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond very basic language. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow: “everyting,” “resposibilities,” “excell,” “chamge,” and “resistence” are examples. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “agree to this belief” and “fulfill and excell them.” Aim for accurate spelling and natural collocations, and choose precise words for the ideas you mean. Proofreading carefully and learning phrases in context will help you communicate your points more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the opening contrast “Be it technology or even humans…” and a sentence beginning “Also, as we make more mistake…”. This shows some range, but control is uneven. For example, “people’s habits and perspective changes” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “acceptance is also plays” combines two verb forms incorrectly. The opening fragment is also not a complete sentence, and “in order to fulfill and excell them” has an unclear grammatical reference. Work on complete sentence construction, agreement, and consistent verb patterns. Shorter, carefully checked sentences can help you express the ideas accurately before you attempt more complex structures.
