Student answer (Band 5.5)
As the topic illustrats that is normal that people change their habits and opinions as they gets older.
I strongly agree. As people gets older they have more knowledge and experience.
When they are in young age they may have different opinions on some issue as I think that when I was in matric I was having opinion that social media is reality of some one life as I some one is posting pics with attractive dressing and beautiful location. I was thinking that he is happy and enjoying his life very much. But now my opinion is that every story has two sides if he looks good in a pic but may be he has a very tough routine of job etc we don't see his struggle or hurdles but we just see one side of the story as now my opinion is that social media portray a fake image of some ones.
I also thinks tat ha bits changes with time as a mans gets old. As in childhood or young age people don't have responsibilities of their family so they are free and having no stress about life ut when gets older they have to look after their young ones so has to change their habits as in young age no one can do job 8 to 10 hours and in older age you have to adjust yourself accordingly. In young age someone spent money on irrelevant things like parties and gambling but as he gets older he don't waste money but thinks about his family needs.
So the conclusion is that with time habbits and opinions hots changed.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the start: “I strongly agree,” and you address both changing opinions and changing habits. The social-media example explains how your view has developed with experience, while the discussion of family responsibilities and spending gives relevant reasons for changing habits. These examples make the response personal and connected to the question. However, the two areas are not developed equally: the opinion example is more specific, whereas the habits paragraph relies on broad claims about age and responsibility. Explain more fully how these changes happen and add a concrete example to support the habits point. This would make the relevant ideas more consistently clear and developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: you state your view, discuss opinions, move to habits, and finish with a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the main argument. However, progression within the long body paragraphs is sometimes difficult to track, particularly in the social-media example, where several ideas are joined into one extended sentence. Linking phrases such as “as” and “when” are repeated, and some references, including “he” and “some ones,” are unclear. Use separate paragraphs for the two main points, divide long sentences, and make the relationship between examples and explanations explicit. A more varied, precise use of linking and referencing would make the organisation smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary to discuss the topic, including “knowledge and experience,” “responsibilities,” “struggle,” and “family needs.” These choices help communicate your main ideas, and some phrases show an attempt to express more specific concepts. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “social media portray a fake image of some ones” and “irrelevant things.” Spelling errors such as “illustrats,” “habbits,” and “hots” also reduce accuracy. Build a wider set of precise expressions for changing views and routines, and check spelling and collocations. More natural phrasing would help your ideas come across clearly and efficiently.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with subordinate clauses, for example, “When they are in young age…” and the explanation beginning “as I think that when I was in matric…”. This shows an effort to connect reasons and examples. However, control is inconsistent: errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “people gets older,” “I also thinks,” and “he don't waste money.” Articles and sentence construction are also problematic, as in “when in young age” and the long, loosely joined social-media sentence. These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended relationships. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build complex sentences in shorter, clearly punctuated units.
