Student answer (Band 6.0)
People evolve their behaviour and thinking when they gain experience. This is commonly because they adapt some new habits and their opinions get more polished with the passage of time.I completely agree with this development as change is important for survival.
Habits are basically the things which people get used to in their daily lives. It is not always accurate that a person is always following a good habits. For example, while being young, they tend to focus less on their eating habits and may consume food late in the nights. Individual studying in college more likely to have their dinner after sunset whereas their olders sleep at this time completimg their all tasks. The foremost reason is older generation have pass these difficult time and aware of the consequences of it on their health.
Furthermore, adults are more stuck on their perspectives and hardly takes anyone suggestions.People believe they are always performing right tasks and does not need any assistance . But gradually , experiences and their own sufferings aids in developing their own mindset . Not only this , it also helps in overcoming some social stigmas that they were following since ages. For instance ,the believe that restricts women to attend the temples during their menstruation. This practice has been followed by several females in their teenage years because of lack of information. Although, it is still follow by certain old people but with different point of view. However, it was mainly practised to give women break from all surrounding activities.
In conclusion, experiences plays an essential role in changing person's daily behaviour and point of view . That is why elderly poplution is considered to be more accurate in making decions because they have learned through their mistakes

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the opening: “I completely agree,” and the conclusion returns to the idea that experience changes behaviour and viewpoints. You address both habits and opinions, using relevant examples about eating routines and beliefs concerning women attending temples during menstruation. This meets the task well, and the examples show how age and experience may influence change. However, the habits example focuses mainly on differences between young people and older people rather than clearly tracing how an individual changes a habit over time. The discussion of the social belief is also somewhat unclear about how opinions change. To develop the response further, explain the process of change more explicitly and extend each example with a clear link to your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on habits and opinions, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “Furthermore,” “For instance,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within some paragraphs is not always smooth. The shift from young people’s eating routines to older people’s experience needs a clearer explanation, and the temple example moves from restrictions to the idea of giving women a break without fully clarifying the relationship. Some linking phrases feel mechanical, while punctuation spacing makes connections harder to follow. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then organise the explanation and example in a clear sequence. More precise referencing would also help readers follow who “they” and “it” refer to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “consequences,” “perspectives,” “social stigmas,” and “mindset.” These choices show some range beyond basic everyday language. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “opinions get more polished,” “their olders,” and “the believe that restricts women.” Spelling errors, including “completimg,” “poplution,” and “decions,” also reduce accuracy. Some expressions are vague, for example “surrounding activities,” which makes the intended meaning less precise. Aim for natural combinations and check word forms and spelling carefully. Choosing simpler but accurate phrasing is preferable to using an ambitious expression that does not fit its context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at more complex structures, including “Although, it is still follow by certain old people…” and “Not only this, it also helps…”. This gives the response some structural variety, but complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur across the essay. Examples include “a good habits,” “adults … hardly takes,” “experiences … aids,” and “experiences plays,” where agreement or number is incorrect. There are also problems with articles and sentence boundaries, as in “change is important for survival” following a sentence joined without a space. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to interpret. Practise checking subject–verb agreement, singular and plural forms, and sentence punctuation, then build longer sentences from accurate clauses.
