Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some people often change both their habits and opinions with time. This is very common because as people gain more experience in life and get older their perspectives and hobbies often change. I am completely agree with this notion and the following paragraphs will discuss the possible reasons responsible for this development.
One significant reason why people change their habits is because of change in their lifestyle. This happens when individuals implement new changes in their daily lives. For instance, when a student move to a new country for higher education, their daily routine changes according to their studies or work pressure. They have to adapt to the new environment. Therefore, their hobbies often changes to fullfill their daily goals. Another important factor is environmental infulence also bring changes in people opinions. This is because people make new friends or meet new people. As a result , their opinions and choices have a great infulence of other people . Moreover, several incidents happen in day to day life or new experiences are responsbile for changed opinions.
Furthermore, As people get old, they become more wiser and responsible. People experience different stages of life. Their hobbies , clothing style , lifestyle changes according to their age . For instance, individulas who use to like loud music in thier younger days , will prefer calming music in old age. In addition to this health also plays an important role. For instance people who use to like play sports in their youth days , might have lack of stamina as theu get old and therefore they leave their hobby of playing sports and replace it with a new hobby. As a health factor, influence of outer world, new living conditions are few factors which are responsible for changed hobbies and opinions.
To conclude, I believe this is a positive development because nature demands a change and individuals needs to adapt their nature and opinions and hobbies to fit in the new world . Therefore, people ideas and preferences changes over time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you agree that habits and opinions change with age, and you give relevant reasons, including lifestyle changes, social influence, new experiences, maturity and health. The examples of a student moving abroad and an older person replacing sport with another hobby help make the discussion concrete. This fully addresses the question, and the range of reasons shows some breadth. However, the response focuses more on changing habits and hobbies than on opinions; the point about friends influencing opinions is mentioned but not explained with a specific example. The conclusion calls change positive, although this judgement is not developed in the main discussion. Extending these points and linking each reason more directly to both habits and opinions would strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally progress from lifestyle and social influences to age and health. Linking expressions such as “For instance,” “As a result” and “Furthermore” help signal examples and additions. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear: “Another important factor is environmental influence also bring changes” combines two structures, while the final sentence of the second body paragraph lists factors rather than drawing the discussion together. There is also some repetition of “For instance” and “changes.” Use clearer topic sentences, make pronouns and references explicit, and ensure each paragraph develops one connected line of reasoning.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough vocabulary to discuss the topic, including terms such as “perspectives,” “adapt,” “environment” and “stamina.” These choices help communicate a range of causes and examples. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “change,” “people” and “hobbies,” and several word-choice or collocation problems make some phrases awkward, for example “have a great influence of other people” and “nature demands a change.” Spelling errors such as “fullfill,” “infulence” and “responsbile” are also noticeable. Aim for more precise expressions and check spelling carefully; for example, describe how social circles “shape” opinions and how people “adjust” routines to new circumstances.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “because,” “when” and “as,” and the overall meaning is usually clear. Some sentence forms are controlled, such as “They have to adapt to the new environment.” However, errors in agreement, verb forms and sentence construction remain, as in “a student move,” “their hobbies often changes,” and “people ideas and preferences changes.” The opening “I am completely agree” also has an incorrect verb pattern. There are some punctuation and capitalisation slips, including “Furthermore” after a paragraph break and inconsistent spacing around commas. Review subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
