Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You state a position in favour of change with “for Agreed” and refer to habits and opinions, so the response is connected to the question. However, it does not explain why people commonly change as they age, and it gives no relevant example or developed supporting reason. The single sentence about becoming a better person is difficult to interpret and does not clearly establish how the proposed changes relate to getting older. The response is also substantially below the required 250 words, leaving most of the task unanswered. To strengthen your response, state your view clearly, give at least two reasons linked to age, and support them with specific examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: “for Agreed” signals your position, followed by a sentence that appears to explain it. However, the answer consists of one long, loosely connected sentence, so the reader cannot follow a clear progression from opinion to reason and example. The links between “look underneath their collar,” changing habits, and being recognised by others are unclear. There are no paragraph breaks or clear transitions to guide the reader. Organise the essay into an introduction, separate body paragraphs for your reasons, and a conclusion. Within each paragraph, present one main idea and connect it explicitly to the question.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “habits,” “opinions,” and “changing,” which shows awareness of the subject. There is also an effort to express a more abstract idea through “become better person.” However, several choices are inaccurate or unclear, such as “look underneath their collar” and “mendling”; these make your intended meaning difficult to understand. “Opinons” is also misspelled, and “their’s” is not the correct form for possession. Aim for precise, natural phrases rather than unusual expressions whose meaning is uncertain. For example, you could write that people “reflect on their behaviour” or “revise their views as they gain experience.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts a complex sentence, using “and” and “in order for” to connect ideas, but the sentence is not controlled well enough to make the relationships clear. For example, “the people … needs” has a subject–verb agreement error, and “their’s some specific habits” does not form a grammatical possessive construction. The phrase “how life is supposed to live” also lacks a clear subject and appropriate verb pattern. The opening fragment, “for Agreed,” is not a complete sentence. Practise writing short, complete sentences first, checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb patterns; then combine related ideas with accurate clauses and punctuation.
