Student answer (Band 5.5)
Everyone has various habits and opinions about different things. As we have seen most of the times that it is common for people to change their habits and opinions as they get older. I am totally agree with this statement. I will describe the relavant example in the following paragraphs.
There are certain reasons why individuals change their habits as they get older. To begin with, eveyone has different mindset. As they will think differently according to their choices. For instance, when I was kid, my goal was to become pilot but when I grew up. My interest and my choice has changed and I develop my interest in the scientific field. Because I thought it has more oppertunity and well paid job, so that is the reason why I have changed my perspective in the field.
In addition, when we were young and we mostly follow the parent's opinion and some of the individuals also stated to follow as their favourite actor or cricketer opinion. Moreover, they will not be ablew to predict the situation and circumstances of the future things. Consequently, they have to change their dreams and habits with the generations. Last but not the least, as we become older our mindset also changed so we can also develop interest in various thing.
In conclusion, as I mentioned earlier how our habits and opinions are changed as we become grow. It is the process of the life as we have to change with times and we mightly face this common changes in everyone's lives.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that people’s habits and opinions change as they grow older, and you give relevant reasons, including changing career interests and being influenced by parents or public figures when young. The personal example about wanting to become a pilot and later choosing a scientific field helps make the point concrete. However, the response only partly develops the task: the second reason is broad, and the link between changing opinions and changing habits is not explained in detail. Some claims, such as changing “with the generations,” are also unclear. To strengthen the response, explain each reason more fully and add a specific example of a habit or opinion changing with age.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “In addition” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. Overall, the ideas are arranged coherently, but some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “As they will think differently according to their choices” does not clearly connect to the preceding sentence, and “Consequently” introduces a result that is not fully explained. The second body paragraph also moves between parental influence, future circumstances and changing interests without clearly showing how these points relate. Use clearer links between claims and examples, and organise each paragraph around one main reason.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the general topic, including terms such as “mindset,” “perspective,” “circumstances” and “develop interest.” However, the range is limited and some word choices or combinations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. Examples include “well paid job,” “follow the parent's opinion,” “change with the generations” and “common changes.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “relavant,” “eveyone,” “oppertunity” and “mightly.” Aim to use more precise expressions and check spelling carefully. Learning common collocations for discussing personal development and changing views would make your ideas clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “when,” “because” and “as.” However, errors are frequent, and some sentence structures are faulty enough to make the reader pause. For example, “I am totally agree” should be “I totally agree,” while “when I grew up” is incorrectly joined to the next sentence with a full stop. There are also problems with verb forms and agreement in “my choice has changed and I develop my interest” and “our mindset also changed.” Review subject–verb agreement, tense consistency and sentence boundaries. Building accurate simple sentences first, then adding subordinate clauses, will improve control.
