Student answer (Band 4.5)
There is a comparition between olden days and modern days because of people to change their habits and their opinions as they get older. In these recent days change of their habitals and their perspective was different, compared to their childhood. I do not completely agree with this statement.
Firstly, I would like to inform you about our lifestlye, in these recent days it is a quite common for people to change both their habitals and their perspective for instance, our lifestlye had changed compared to olden days, often we don't have enough duration to do other activities like we used to do at our childhood, because of our busy schedule we had changed our habitals and perspective.
Secondly, In olden days when were we are kids, we had a plenty of time to do activities such as playing sports, making crafts, planting plants at gardens or farms. Getting older our habitals and perspective change so, we had changed our lifestlye due to our busy schedule. Moreover, we had different habitals like going to gym, having a health diet, maintaining our fitness, concentrating on career. As well as our perspective changed too, we are adults now we know what would be better for us.
In conclusion, I would prefer to inform you that, It is a quite common for people to vhange their habits and their opinions as they get older, Its fasinating to change both their habitals and their perspective, since, developing our lifestlye as well-known, it feels elated to us and our family too. Furthermore, Our childhood habitals and perspective also a crucial for our childhood experience and entertainment with companions and family.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a position—“I do not completely agree”—and discuss changes in routines and outlook as people grow older, with relevant examples such as sports, crafts, fitness and career priorities. However, the position is not sustained clearly: the conclusion says it is common to change, which sounds closer to agreement, and does not explain what you disagree with. Several points repeat the idea that busy schedules change habits, while the reasons for changing opinions are only briefly stated (“we know what would be better for us”). To strengthen the response, explain both the extent of your agreement and why opinions change, then support each main reason with a specific example. The response meets the task’s length requirement; 18 words copied from the prompt were excluded from the count.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly” and “In conclusion” help signal its parts. However, progression is limited because the same point about busy schedules and changed lifestyles appears in both body paragraphs. Some links are unclear or mechanically added: “Moreover” introduces another list, while “As well as” does not connect smoothly to the preceding sentence. The conclusion also shifts the position rather than bringing the argument together. Organise each body paragraph around a distinct reason—one about habits and one about opinions—and use clear references and transitions to show how each example supports that reason.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “perspective,” “busy schedule,” “maintaining our fitness” and “concentrating on career.” However, the range is limited by repeated use of “habitals,” “perspective” and “lifestlye,” and several word choices or spellings make the message less clear. “Habitals” is not the intended word, and “comparition” and “vhange” are misspellings. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “a health diet” and “at our childhood.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and vary key terms; for example, use “routines” or “daily habits” instead of repeating the same noun. Proofreading spelling and word forms would make your ideas easier to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You try to combine ideas using clauses and time expressions, as in “because of our busy schedule” and “when were we are kids,” but the latter shows that complex sentence attempts are often faulty. Errors in tense, articles, agreement and sentence construction occur frequently and sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “In these recent days change of their habitals … was different” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “we had a plenty of time” uses an incorrect article pattern. The sentence beginning “Getting older our habitals and perspective change so” also needs clearer clause structure and punctuation. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses; check tense consistency when describing childhood and present-day life.
