Student answer (Band 5.5)

As we grow our moral subjective and arguments evolves. Whether it's about habits or our own opinions. That why, I agree with the statement that we gradually alter our habits and opinions as we grow older.

Firstly, we build the fundamental habits through life, it impact in-order to grow and then change your life style. If you take an example, when you were in adolence, we used to play so many games and video games. Which would not have impacted at the time when we were growing, However, if we are keep coutinuing the same thing in future, that could be problemtic as we can not make that habit as our whole life.

Also, with the 'opinion', when you have basic opinions about something which you think that were relvent at the time where you applying that might not be case in present. Some way or another it will not work as it should have been. To give an instance, people were specticle about the AI evolution as there opinion were AI would not take there jobs in near future. Now, they finally determined about that people changed their perspective and altered there opinion with how an AI could wipe out the whole AI team in seconds.

To end with, I would state, when growing, it is an opportunity for us to discover maybe a thousands of habits and opinions in the game of life while growing. For us it is very comman and history have shown that people have changed rapidly and shown strong maturity as they grow older.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear in the opening: you agree that habits and opinions change with age, and you discuss both parts of the question. The examples about gaming in adolescence and changing views of AI are relevant, so the response addresses the task rather than moving away from it. However, the explanations are often difficult to follow or remain general. For instance, the gaming example does not clearly show how an older person’s habits change, and the AI example makes a broad claim without explaining what caused people to revise their views. The conclusion repeats the idea of change but adds little support. Develop each example with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation and a specific detail from experience or observation.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on habits and opinions, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “Firstly,” “Also,” and “To end with” helps readers identify the stages of the argument. However, connections within sentences and between ideas are sometimes unclear. The opening fragment, “Whether it’s about habits or our own opinions,” interrupts the flow, while “Some way or another it will not work as it should have been” does not clearly link the general point to the AI example. References such as “that” and “it” can also be hard to interpret. Use complete topic sentences, make pronoun references explicit, and connect each example directly to the claim it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “fundamental habits,” “perspective,” “determined,” and “maturity.” These choices show an effort to express abstract ideas, but inaccurate word forms, spelling, and collocations sometimes make the meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “moral subjective,” “adolence,” “specticle,” and “comman”; “wipe out the whole AI team” is also an imprecise way to describe AI replacing workers. Some phrases, such as “in the game of life,” are vague rather than informative. Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully. More precise wording will help you explain how people’s routines and beliefs change without relying on broad or unclear expressions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if we are keep coutinuing the same thing in future” and clauses beginning with “when.” However, complex sentences are often not controlled, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries can make the argument difficult to follow. For example, “our moral subjective and arguments evolves” has problems with agreement and sentence structure, while “That why” is missing a verb. “Which would not have impacted…” is a fragment, and “people were… as there opinion were” contains errors in clause construction and agreement. Practise building complete sentences around one main idea, then check subject–verb agreement and verb forms before adding subordinate clauses.
