Student answer (Band 5.5)
Habbits being changed in peoples as they get older is a considerable debate, i belive habbits could not be same in all the phases of life.
As human body and strength could not be same during the entire life cycle, hobbies could also not be same . For instance in childhood kids more attracted towards toys and mud. Highschool children are more lean towards physical games and have alot to spend in leisuren activities. but the same hghschool children when started university, have less time for all these hobbies as they need to complete numerous assignmnets and projects.
Let me elaborate with more practicial situations, when i was a kid i had a hobby of collecting stickes and i was much involved into it. The same hoby get replaced with collecting coins and currencies of different countries when i was in highschool. In my university life i used to have a hobby of book readings especially non academics. As it filled me with more knowledge.
I am now working as full time and have very less time for book readings, moreover my hobby also evolved to gardening. As after a hectice and busy schedules i spent some time in gardeing that keep me refreshing and close to the nature. Different phases of lives equipped with different hobbies as change is the only thing that is static.
In my opinon, hobbies must be and should be change accordingly to ages, availability of time and strength of body. As it keep us more lively and energetic, moreover we cant keep the same hobby in the entire life as it practically not posisble.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you agree that habits change with age, and the examples about childhood toys, school activities, university reading and gardening are relevant. The personal account gives the response a concrete basis. However, the task asks about both habits and opinions, while nearly all your discussion concerns hobbies; opinions are not addressed. The claim that hobbies “must be” change is also asserted rather than fully explained, and the conclusion mainly repeats the same point. To strengthen the response, discuss how views or beliefs may change with experience and develop each main reason with a specific explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, examples across different life stages, a personal account and a concluding opinion. Time markers such as “when I was a kid,” “in my university life” and “I am now working” help readers follow the progression. You also use linking expressions, including “For instance” and “moreover.” This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some features of stronger progression. However, several links are mechanical or unclear: “Let me elaborate with more practical situations” does not smoothly introduce the personal example, and the final paragraph repeats earlier claims. Grouping the reasons more deliberately and using clearer links between examples and the main argument would make the progression more effective.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of relevant vocabulary, including “life cycle,” “assignments and projects,” “evolved” and “availability,” and the reader can generally understand your examples. There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “close to nature.” However, the range is limited by repeated use of “hobby” and “same,” while several spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “habbits,” “stickes,” “practicial” and “hectice.” Some combinations are unnatural, such as “more lean towards” and “keep me refreshing.” These errors do not prevent understanding overall, but they reduce precision and may slow the reader. Check spelling carefully and learn natural collocations for describing changing interests and routines.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a comparison across life stages and a reason introduced by “As.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “As human body and strength could not be same” is missing articles and has an awkward verb construction; “when started university” lacks a clear subject; and “As it filled me with more knowledge” is a sentence fragment. There are also problems with agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “that keep me refreshing.” Practise building complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and check articles, tense consistency and agreement. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to follow.
