Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is very common in people we can see that how they grown-up their priorities and hobbies are getting changes. I completely agree with the subject my essay will describe the different scenarios to support this.
Firstly, as a human being when we are toddlers or teenagers our habbits and opinions are majorly fixed to act as a selfish towards any things we want or we do. For an instance, a five year child have fixed routin for playing, eating, studying and expresiing same opinions on verious things while once he/she grown up the habbits and opiniond getting changed over the years and neighther they stick to childhod habbits nor the opinions.
Secondly, as people get older they have many family members that affect the opinions and habbits they follow earlier. They have to be make every one happy around them and in the same manner they express their opinions. The habbits they follow throughout the life automatically got changes with the different circumstances in life. For an instance, if someone has a habbit to playing cricket every weekend with friends he/she can't continue as they grown up their physical strength is getting decreased and the friends might move out to different places to settle in life. So neither they can stick to their everyday activities nor opinions as that got influence by the different scenarios in life.
To conclude, in everyday life the things are getting changed as people grownup and they could not follow the same routin and express the opinion as thet are getting based on different situations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the opening—“I completely agree”—and you address both habits and opinions, giving relevant examples such as a child’s routine and an adult who can no longer play cricket every weekend. These examples show why people’s behaviour may change with age and circumstances. However, the discussion of opinions is less fully developed: it is mentioned repeatedly, but you do not give a specific example of an opinion changing or explain what might cause that change. The claim that children are “selfish” is also broad and not clearly connected to the question. To strengthen the response, develop both parts of the topic more evenly and explain the link between each example and your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from childhood habits to the influence of adult responsibilities and circumstances. However, the linking is sometimes mechanical, and several points are repeated, particularly the idea that people cannot keep the same habits or opinions. Some references are unclear, as in “the habits they follow earlier” and “as that got influence,” making it difficult to identify exactly what is changing. The conclusion restates the position but adds little synthesis. Use clearer links between cause and result, avoid repeating the same claim, and make references explicit to improve the flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a range of topic-related words, including “priorities,” “circumstances,” “physical strength,” and “influence,” which helps communicate the main ideas. However, vocabulary control is uneven, and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to read. Examples include “habbits,” “routin,” “opiniond,” and “neighther”; these errors recur rather than being isolated. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “fixed to act as a selfish” and “a habit to playing cricket.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise language for changes in beliefs and routines would also help you explain your ideas without relying on repeated general terms such as “things” and “different scenarios.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if someone has a habit…” and clauses explaining how circumstances affect people. This gives the response some structural variety. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur across the essay and sometimes make meaning harder to follow. For example, “a five year child have” needs a singular subject and verb, while “once he/she grown up” is missing an auxiliary. The sentence “They have to be make every one happy” also has an incorrect verb pattern. Work on forming complete clauses and checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms; clearer sentence boundaries and punctuation would make your reasoning easier to understand.
