Student answer (Band 5.5)
some people argue that It is very common for people to change their mind, habits, and opinions as they get older. I agree with this statement and will discuss my viewpoints in this essay.
To begin with, Individuals become more responsible when they get older. People start watching videos or playing games on social media when they are young. but when they getting older they are more likely to focus on their career path, studies and their responsibilities. For example, some Students like to start part-time jobs to become independent and help their parents financially rather than wasting their time on social media.
Along with this, life-experience also change their prospective. to expain it, individuals learn from their past mistakes. They get knowlegde and lesson not to repeat that again. Apart from this they also learn about the difference between moey, relationships and carrer security. For instance, when people become older they focus on thei family more and gives poriority to their happiness instead of becoming only money-minded when they get maturity.
To conclude, individuals can change their mind when they become responsible and gained life- experience through their past mistakes to not to repeat that again.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you agree that people change as they age, and you give two relevant reasons—greater responsibility and learning from past mistakes. The examples about taking part-time jobs and prioritising family help illustrate these points. However, the ideas are brief and sometimes unclear, so the response only partly develops the task; for example, the link between maturity and changing opinions is not explained in detail. The response is 189 words, which is 61 words below the 250-word minimum; 8 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each reason with fuller explanation and a specific example, and address both habits and opinions more explicitly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs introduced by “To begin with” and “Along with this,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader a coherent overall arrangement, and the examples generally follow the points they support. Some connections are less clear, however. In the second body paragraph, the movement from learning from mistakes to money, relationships and career security is abrupt, and the conclusion largely repeats the earlier points rather than bringing them together. A few linking phrases, such as “Apart from this,” feel mechanical because the relationship between ideas is not fully explained. Make each paragraph follow one main idea in a clear sequence, and use transitions that show the precise connection between sentences.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “responsible,” “career path,” “independent,” “life-experience” and “financially.” This is enough to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling and collocation errors make parts difficult to understand. For example, “change their prospective” appears to mean changing perspective, while “difference between moey, relationships and carrer security” is unclear. There are also repeated general terms such as “people,” “older” and “change.” Build a more precise range for discussing maturity and priorities, and check spelling and natural word combinations. More accurate vocabulary would make your examples clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional contrast in “when they are young … but when they getting older” and a reason clause in “when people become older they focus on their family more.” However, errors occur frequently and sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Examples include “when they getting older” (missing auxiliary), “life-experience also change” (subject–verb agreement), and “individuals learn … They get knowlegde and lesson not to repeat that again” (unclear sentence construction and verb pattern). Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “but” after a full stop and capitalised “Individuals” mid-sentence. Practise accurate verb forms, agreement and sentence boundaries before adding more complex structures.
