Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is very common for people to change both their habits and their opinions as they get older. I strongly agree with this statement.
When we are young, there are always some habits and opinions which we have learnt from our elders. But as we grow and learn new things we realise that not everything that our elder does is correct. As a humar we are tend develop our own habits and opinions.
For an instance, while I was growing up I have always seen my mother taking care of our family and keeping everyone's need & wishes before her. She never gave importance to herself or her wishes. And I grew up with the same ideology. I always used to think that life is not fair with women.
Today, I am also a wife and a mother. And I have realised that the way my mother used to live was not correct. You can take care of your family without being unfair with yourself. A woman can be a loving wife and a caring mother without keeping her wishes aside.
On contrary, my elder sister who has grown up just like my mother and follows the same path as her. She is happy in her life too. But I feel "you can not pour from an empty vessel". You needs to be physically, emotionally and mentally fit in order to take care of others.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the opening: “I strongly agree,” and the example about changing your view of your mother’s self-sacrifice is relevant and personal. You explain how your own outlook has shifted and give a reason for the change, so the response addresses the question. However, the discussion of your sister introduces a contrasting case but is not developed enough to show how it affects your overall argument. The response also contains 217 words, below the required 250; 18 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop the sister example and add another reason or specific illustration to extend your answer and address the ideas more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall sequence: you state your view, explain how people may inherit attitudes, give a personal example, and then contrast your experience with your sister’s. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and phrases such as “For an instance” and “On contrary” signal relationships between ideas. This coherent arrangement meets the main expectations at this level. Some links are awkward or unclear, however: “And I grew up with the same ideology” follows a sentence about your mother without clearly identifying the connection, while the final paragraph’s contrast does not fully connect back to your central claim. Use more natural transitions and add a concluding sentence that draws the examples together.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range to discuss family roles and personal beliefs, including “ideology,” “unfair with yourself,” and “physically, emotionally and mentally fit.” The saying “you can not pour from an empty vessel” also adds a memorable expression relevant to your point. Meaning is generally clear, though some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “keeping everyone's need & wishes,” “life is not fair with women,” and “follows the same path as her.” There is also a spelling error in “humar.” Aim for more precise, natural phrasing and check spelling; this would make your ideas sound more fluent and controlled without changing their meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex forms, including the contrast in “You can take care of your family without being unfair with yourself” and the relative clause “who has grown up just like my mother.” Most sentences communicate the intended meaning, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “we are tend to develop” has an incorrect verb pattern, “I have always seen” does not fit the past-time context as naturally as a past form, and “You needs” has subject–verb disagreement. Sentence fragments beginning with “And” also interrupt the flow. Review verb forms, agreement, and sentence boundaries, then proofread for punctuation. More accurate control of these patterns would strengthen the range you are already attempting.
