Student answer (Band 5.5)
In todays's fast and ever changing world people are evolving quick then yester years. With advancments in technologies and health concerns mankind has adpated routine practices with an ease. Moreover, with upgrading life and systems people have their own experiences that becomes more robust with the perspective they have for life. Hence, I second that as humans get older they change their habits and opinions.
To commence with, Our food habits have changed from before the way junk food has made its way to the houses is concerning. We see nowadays younge kids have indigestion issues, lactose intolerace problems as the only vital intake they have is not quite right for the growing body. Despite of making them understand about how important it is to maintain a good health. However, the new trend of gymming is working as a best practice to look upto. People taking health and diet challanges is influencing youth in a good way. There is trend of people adding gym in the daily activity and modern parents are training kids at a very younge age on this. The parents have started eliminating certain foods from their kids' meals.
On contrary, the life before was much more slow paced and sufficient. Everydays tasks were performed in a way that the physical workout was somehow involved in it. The eldery people have blend into today's world gradually. To examplify, so many couples in theirs 50s and 60s have took up gym and are trying to maintain it on regular basis. Coming from the lifestyle of their early adulthood years it is a very drastic change for them to accept but they are not having a tough time to keep up with it. Morover, this has proved to become a bridging activity among both the generations.
To conclude, it is usual to change habits and opinions as people age, may it be with diet, lifestyle or the technologies. Change is the only constant.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction (“I second that”) and conclusion, and you give relevant examples about changing food habits, exercise, and older adults adapting to gym routines. This addresses the question, but the discussion focuses mainly on habits; the task also asks about changing opinions, which is mentioned only briefly through general references to “perspective” and experience. Some points, such as children’s diets and parents’ choices, are relevant but not fully connected to how people’s habits change as they themselves age. To strengthen the response, develop a specific example of an opinion changing with age and explain the reasons behind that change, while making the link between each example and your position explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and the ideas generally move from food and exercise to older people’s adaptation. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the first body paragraph shifts from children’s health problems to gym trends and parental choices without clearly showing how these points connect. Linking phrases such as “To commence with,” “On contrary,” and “Morover” provide some structure, but several are mechanical or do not accurately signal the relationship between ideas. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, as in “they are not having a tough time to keep up with it.” Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example directly to the paragraph’s main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of vocabulary relevant to lifestyle and change, including “routine practices,” “perspective,” “indigestion issues,” and “bridging activity.” These choices show an effort to express more than basic ideas, but inaccurate spelling and word choice are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause. Examples include “advancments,” “adpated,” “younge,” and “examplify”; phrases such as “upgrading life and systems” and “taking health and diet challanges” are also unclear or unnatural. Some collocations, including “a best practice to look upto,” do not sound idiomatic. Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling carefully; this will make your meaning clearer while preserving the range you are attempting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a clause beginning “as humans get older” and a contrast introduced by “Despite of.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, verb forms, and articles sometimes make ideas harder to follow. For example, “people have their own experiences that becomes more robust” has an agreement problem, while “so many couples in theirs 50s and 60s have took up gym” contains errors in the possessive form and verb construction. “Despite of making them understand…” is also an incomplete sentence. Practise building complete sentences around one main idea, and check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and article use before submitting.
