Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is indeed that older generation often switch their opinion and habits as they become older, because they have different mindset and the physical abilities. I am completely agree with the given statement. This essay will discuss reasons and examples of my point of view in the following paragraphs.
The primary cause is they are not enough mentally strong to rely on one opinion. This is because, during their young age they have made multiple decision and this habit makes them to change their opinion frequently enev in their sernoir citizen age. Furthermore, they are not assure and made decision, and after due to certain circumstances, they may change. For instance, my grand father frequently switch their point of view regarding farming, because of weather condition or he is not sure about the consequence.
Another reason to change a habit of older people is no they are physically fit. This is mainly because when they are in the adult ag, they use to wake up early on the moring and go for a walk, since then they are habituated, whereas after some years they are not fully fit to walk. So, they initiated to read a newspaper ot on daily basis. As a result, a same daily activity makes them to often switching their habits.
In contrast, many individuals are doing same things for years. To be specific, experience person still stay on the same decision which he has made before, because he know the consequences and confidence.
To conclude, although majority of aged population often change their perspective due to low confidence regards decision power, experience senior citizens have ability to face any challanges when it comes to change opinion.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You give a clear position in the introduction—“I am completely agree with the given statement”—and maintain the view that people’s opinions and habits can change with age. Both parts of the prompt are addressed, with reasons and personal examples: your grandfather’s changing views about farming and the change from walking to reading a newspaper. These examples make the response relevant. However, some reasoning is unclear or insufficiently supported, particularly the claim that older people change opinions because they are “not enough mentally strong.” The contrast paragraph about experienced people keeping the same decisions also complicates your position without explaining how it fits your overall agreement. Develop each reason more precisely and reconcile this counterpoint with your main view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting reasons, a contrasting point, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “The primary cause,” “Furthermore,” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the argument. Overall, the reader can follow your main position. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “This is because” is followed by an explanation that does not clearly establish why earlier decisions lead to changing opinions in old age. The transition “In contrast” introduces a counterargument, but its relationship to your position is not explained. Pronoun references also become confusing in places, such as “they” and “he” in the final body paragraph. Make the connections between claims and examples more explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “mindset,” “physical abilities,” “consequences,” and “perspective,” and you attempt to express ideas about confidence and changing routines. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning difficult to interpret. Phrases such as “not enough mentally strong,” “not assure and made decision,” and “a same daily activity” do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also spelling errors, including “enev,” “sernoir,” and “challanges.” Aim to learn vocabulary in accurate phrases and check spelling carefully; precise, natural wording will make your reasons and examples clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “whereas,” and “although,” so there is some variety in structure. The main ideas are generally recoverable, but errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “I am completely agree,” “they have made multiple decision,” and “my grand father frequently switch their point of view.” The sentence beginning “Another reason to change a habit” also contains a faulty construction: “is no they are physically fit.” These errors sometimes make the relationships between ideas hard to follow. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking each sentence for a complete, correctly formed clause.
