Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this contemporary epoch, many senior citizens changed their habits and opinions with the variation in time. However, I totally agreed with this statement, which will be discussed in the forthcoming paragraph.
There is a plethore of reason the people change their habitaul things. The first and the formost reason behind is indulging in the new gadgets and technological things. In this cutting edge technology, change the point of view regarding the new instruments such as mobile phones, computers, laptops and many more, is best way to use them instead of obeying the old ways. To be more precise, surviving in this technical era, fluctuate towards these things is best way of learning to use them. Another specific reason for changing opinons in older people is socialise with their loved ones. In addition, senior people in many un-previlized areas, are living with their peers. The best way to interact in metropolitan cities with them is motionise the way of opinion instead of making it static.
Furthermore, switching the point of view and habitual things is essential in case of responsibilities and priorities. For instance, when we are living in a kids life, we are spending most if of our life playing video games, footballs and many things. Changing in habits is a crucial thing to face the world.
To encapsulate, changing in behaviour is vital for ourself as we see ourself in the mirror world. Along with that, changing is the crucial in worlds' rule.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
Your position is clear: you say, “I totally agreed with this statement,” and give reasons involving technology, social relationships, and changing responsibilities. However, the response only partially develops the task. The technology point is difficult to follow, and the claim that older people change opinions to socialise with loved ones is not explained with a clear example. The paragraph about childhood habits introduces a relevant idea, but it does not show specifically how people’s habits or opinions change as they get older. The conclusion repeats the general view rather than drawing together your reasons. The response is also five words below the required minimum. Develop each reason with a clear explanation and a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “For instance,” and “To encapsulate” help signal stages in the response. However, progression between ideas is not consistently clear: the first body paragraph moves from technology to socialising without a strong connection, while the childhood example in the next paragraph is not clearly tied to the claim about older people. Some linking phrases feel mechanical, and references such as “these things” and “them” do not always make the intended meaning clear. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it before moving on. This would make the overall line of argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of vocabulary, including “contemporary,” “priorities,” “responsibilities,” and “interact,” and the topic is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited by frequent inaccurate word choices, spelling errors, and unnatural collocations that sometimes make meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “plethore of reason,” “motionise the way of opinion,” and “variation in time”; these do not express the intended ideas clearly. There are also misspellings such as “habitaul,” “formost,” and “opinons.” Aim for accurate, natural phrases rather than unusually formal wording. For example, use “a number of reasons,” “change their views,” and “as society changes,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including sentences beginning with “However,” “In addition,” and “For instance.” Nevertheless, the range is limited, and complex constructions are often faulty. For example, “I totally agreed” uses a past-tense verb where the present opinion is intended, and “There is a plethore of reason the people change” lacks a clear grammatical structure and appropriate plural forms. In “when we are living in a kids life,” the article and possessive construction are not controlled. These errors recur and can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check tense, articles, and singular/plural agreement.
