Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays People's behavior towards their habits and their thoughts has been changing day by day while getting older. Age factor Plays very important role in people's thinking . Today we shall discuss about everybody's different mind set by their age. I personally believe that people's routine and habits definitely changes by their growing age.
Firstly I want to say that Kids always think about playing sports and watching television whole day. They generally don't think about study and future. They just enjoy their childhood.
After certain age in their adulthood they always think about their future plans also their family plan . In this age they are enough mature. Their opinions are different from their childhood. They become more responsible by increasing their age. For example My elder brother is more responsible about their job and he also take care our parents . He always eager to help his friends to get their job.
In addition when they getting old their mindset become changing day by day. Old age people always think about their child and their grand child for their better future. Their thought are very different from their past . They behave like kids . Their mind doesn't work properly . They become rude and cruel . Sometimes they think very negative and don't believe their self. My father also think different . They do overthinking about silly things. They always become hyper at their old age .
To conclude , I am agree that people's thoughts and their percipience are change by getting older.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that habits and opinions change with age, and you address childhood, adulthood and old age. The examples about your elder brother’s responsibilities and your father’s overthinking help connect the discussion to personal experience. This is relevant and covers the main question. However, the ideas are not equally developed: the childhood point is brief, and claims about older people becoming “rude and cruel” or behaving “like kids” are broad and need explanation or a more balanced example. To strengthen the response, explain more precisely how experience or changing responsibilities lead to different opinions, and support each age-related point with a specific reason or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs about different stages of life, and a conclusion that restates your view. Sequencing childhood, adulthood and old age gives the discussion an overall logical arrangement. You also use signposts such as “Firstly,” “In addition” and “To conclude.” However, some linking is mechanical, and the progression within paragraphs is not always clear. For example, the paragraph about old age moves quickly from concern for grandchildren to behaving like children, then to negative thinking, without explaining how these points connect. References such as “they” can also be unclear. Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each example explicitly to the main idea of that paragraph.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including terms such as “responsible,” “future plans,” “overthinking” and “mindset.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations sound unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning less precise. For instance, “their percipience are change” does not express your conclusion clearly, while “their family plan” and “think about study” are awkward formulations. Repetition of “think,” “different” and “age” also limits variety. Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing development and changing priorities, and check whether words naturally combine in English. The suggestions below offer alternatives that fit your ideas more accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, and the reader can generally follow your main argument. Some sentence patterns show an effort to explain causes and give examples. However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “habits definitely changes,” “when they getting old,” and “I am agree”; these should be revised to forms such as “habits definitely change,” “when they get older,” and “I agree.” Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in “Nowadays People's” and the spacing around commas. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb, then review punctuation and capital letters.
