It is believed the that individuals can change the attitudes and pepectives as they age in life. This essay agrees with the view that habits and opinions change as people grow old. Firstly. people copy new habits from the enviroment they are located, and secondly, people make new friends that can influence their daily attributes and thoughts..

The enviroment we find ourselves play a crucial role in our daily characters, People generally have their daily routines conditrioned and sharpened, based on the environment. This plays a very major role in the daily habits and opinions. For instance, like the popular saying, you behave like the Romans when in Rome. This make individuals to develop new attributes just by being in a new location.

Friendship has also been linked to the habits and opinions of people, Individuals who are alway together and said to be close friends tend to influence each othes decision. For instance, peer pressures from the friend youths keep influence their daily life choices and the attributes they display. This is the reason for the poular saying: show me your friends and i will tell you who you are. Wrong associations has also made some people to develop habits such as stealing and smoking.

to conclude, people frequently change both theiir habits and opinions as they grow older due to the location the find themselves and the kinds of friends they keep and efforts should constantly be made to ensure that there is a positive impact from these factors.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the introduction: you agree that habits and opinions change with age, and you give two relevant reasons—environment and friendships. The examples about adapting to a new location and peer influence support the general argument, and the conclusion restates your view. However, the response does not fully explain how these influences relate specifically to getting older; much of the discussion could apply to people at any age. The point about “wrong associations” and habits such as stealing or smoking is relevant but is asserted rather than explained, and the effect on opinions receives less development than the effect on habits. To strengthen the response, connect each reason to changes that commonly occur at different life stages and develop one example with clearer explanation.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion. “Firstly” and “secondly” signal the planned argument, while “For instance” introduces examples. This makes the main line of reasoning understandable. However, some links are mechanical or unclear, and punctuation sometimes disrupts the flow—for example, “The enviroment we find ourselves play a crucial role in our daily characters, People generally…” joins two ideas with a comma. The friendship paragraph also moves quickly from peer pressure to harmful habits without explaining the connection. Use clearer sentence boundaries and transitions that show cause and effect, and make sure each paragraph develops one main point in a logical sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a range of relevant vocabulary, including “environment,” “daily routines,” “influence,” “peer pressures,” and “associations,” which helps communicate the topic. The sayings about Rome and friends also provide examples in accessible language. However, several spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word choices reduce precision, including “pepectives,” “enviroment,” “conditrioned,” “attributes,” and “oth es” (intended as “others”). Phrases such as “daily characters” and “friend youths” are difficult to interpret naturally. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the main argument, but they limit the accuracy and flexibility of the vocabulary. Check spelling carefully and choose collocations that express the intended meaning directly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a sentence explaining how routines are shaped by surroundings and a concluding sentence that brings together your reasons. The main ideas are generally understandable, but errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation are noticeable. For example, “The enviroment we find ourselves play” needs a verb that agrees with “environment,” and “This make individuals” has a subject–verb agreement error. The opening also contains an unnecessary “the” in “It is believed the that…”. Several comma splices, such as the sentence beginning “The enviroment…” and continuing “People generally…”, make relationships between clauses less clear. Review agreement and clause boundaries, then proofread punctuation and articles.
