Student answer (Band 5.5)

Everyone has their own way of thinking and habbit. it depend on which type on things they are intrested in. But it is very common when people get older they start changing in their behaviour. I completely agree with this statement that it is highly possible people can change their in way of giving advises because of experience and their likening in things also change with the time.

First of all, many people have diiferent type of habits in their life. Some have good and others contains extremply bad depends on their around culture. but a point come when they start fell like they should change their way of living based on their experience of life. they also feel their mistakes after getting older. However many people have very nice way of thinking and highly appreciatable abilities but after some time pass they lose their good will and become adopt bad habits.

Secondly, life is not same for everyone. Some people born with gold spoon in their mouth and they live their whole comfortably and with out doing any hard work. But when time turn and hardships come in their life then they need to change their all habits according to the situation. it also change their way of thinking and making dicisions.Furthermore, Many people live very normal life in adulthood but when they become older they contain extraordinary abilities and give very useful advise to anyone

In conclusion, I Belive it is very normal for people to change their habits and their oponions as they get older according to the situation and also many peoples are not able to make decision as adults when they become old

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you completely agree that people may change their habits and opinions as they age. You also give relevant reasons, including learning from mistakes and adapting to hardship, so the response addresses the main question. However, the ideas are only partly developed. For example, the claim that people may lose their “good will” and adopt bad habits is introduced without explaining why this happens or giving an example. The discussion also focuses more on habits than on how opinions change, despite the task asking about both. Develop each reason with a specific example and explain more directly how age or experience changes a person’s views.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “First of all” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main sections. However, progression within the paragraphs is uneven: several claims are placed next to one another without clear explanation of how they connect, such as the shift from people having good abilities to losing their “good will.” Linking words such as “However” and “Furthermore” are used, but they do not always clarify the relationship between ideas. Some references, including “it” in “it also change their way of thinking,” are unclear. Organise each paragraph around one reason and connect each supporting point explicitly to it.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “habits,” “experience,” “hardships,” and “way of thinking.” These choices make the general subject understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “change their in way of giving advises” and “they contain extraordinary abilities” do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also frequent spelling errors, such as “habbit,” “intrested,” and “dicisions.” Build a more precise vocabulary for discussing personal development and opinions, and check spelling and common word combinations carefully before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses beginning with “when” and “because,” and the overall meaning can usually be understood. However, control is inconsistent, and complex sentences often contain several errors. Examples include “it depend on which type on things they are intrested in,” “Some have good and others contains,” and “when people get older they start changing,” where agreement, sentence structure, or punctuation needs attention. Articles, plurals, and verb forms are also frequently inaccurate, as in “many peoples” and “they also feel their mistakes.” Some sentences run together, particularly in the second body paragraph. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement and punctuation.
