Student answer (Band 5.0)
yes it is very common for people to change both theri habits and their opinions as they get older.
iam agree this matter, people suddenly changed according to change, habits, due to some people change due to age, because if some people want better health they will do exercise, daily gym, workout, healthy habits follow, diet restriction for healthy life style.
As per my thinking, according to age, all older or younger people change their habits, for example younger older, only importance give to money, luxary life style and then after some time they older and the give importance of health and family.
people think life is very easier, but they thinking only that time whiile being, therfore if health is good, eating fresh fruit vegetables. healthy life style, gaianing expirence and knowledge.make easier life.
secondary people change according to family situation, problem facing, finanicial issue, face every day task, job issue, not enough salry. that s why they cant manage proper bonding with family member, due to enough get time, moreover busy schedule, daily life not give time to by self health then they will change their habbits.
younger people have too much stress, in stufy, college pressure, finanicial issue, cant afford books. and after some time they facing problem of depression, changed their habbits, staring alchol, bad life style, facing health issue.
in conslusion, i strongly agree that people habits and opnions often change as they get older. This is because they gain expirence, learn from their mistakes, and develop a better understanding of life such changes, can help them make wiser decision i the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall position by stating “I strongly agree,” and you offer relevant reasons, including health, family responsibilities, financial pressures and learning from experience. These examples show an attempt to address why habits and opinions may change with age. However, the ideas are often listed rather than explained, and the link between getting older and some examples—such as stress at college or financial problems—is not always clear. The response also does not fully develop how opinions change, focusing more on habits and lifestyle. The required minimum length is not met: the response is 248 words, two words short, and 17 words copied from the prompt are excluded from the count. Develop fewer reasons with clearer explanations and specific examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation: you state your view near the beginning, present several reasons in separate paragraphs, and finish with a conclusion. The conclusion also returns to the idea that experience can lead to wiser decisions. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because several paragraphs contain loosely connected points, and the relationship between age, financial pressure and changing habits is not consistently explained. Linking phrases such as “As per my thinking,” “secondary,” and “moreover” are sometimes awkward or do not clearly show how ideas relate. Some sentences run together, while others are fragments, making connections harder to identify. Use a clearer sequence—one main reason per paragraph—and connect each example explicitly to your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “healthy lifestyle,” “financial issue,” “family situation,” “experience,” and “depression.” This gives you some means of discussing health, work and personal change. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated or used inaccurately, which can make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “importance give to money” and “proper bonding” do not express the intended ideas naturally, while spelling errors such as “luxary,” “salry,” and “expirence” are noticeable. Some phrases, including “according to change,” are unclear. Build a bank of accurate collocations for change and ageing, and check spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, for example, “This is because they gain experience, learn from their mistakes…” This shows an effort to explain ideas rather than relying only on short sentences. However, the range is limited, and many sentences contain frequent errors in verb forms, sentence construction, agreement and punctuation. “I am agree this matter” needs a correct verb pattern, while “people suddenly changed according to change” has unclear tense and structure. Several passages are fragments or run-on sentences, such as the list beginning “if some people want better health.” These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to understand. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then use full stops to separate distinct ideas.
